Our jawans have taught Pakistan a befitting lesson: Modi after decline in firing

Modi really is a good politician he can convince his brainwashed sheep stock of anything he says, they will believe him to the end of their destruction. He reminds me of "Baghdad Bob".

Lol and they have declared victory too. Pakistan and it's media weren't even paying attention. We were busy with north waziristan and India had started and won a war without us even noticing.

This Modi is a real loony taking Indians to a ride.

Im not exactly sure, the more I see it.. the more I am perplexed if Modi is actually who we all make him out to be?
His first statement of all will return to normal and then the final one seems to show that he cares less for conflict with Pakistan than his political allies do. This man is focused on Business, the day the removal of Pakistan means better for business .. you will see Modi in action. Barring that, most of his statements seem almost forced.. for local political consumption.

The border region and its effects are better known to the civilians who suffered. Although I find it odd that the Indian media is constantly being asked to and is reporting casualties of the Indian Army as if that is not the job description....seemingly brewing up the usual storm of sentiment as they did in Kargil. While here a person getting shot an especially a soldier is business as usual. You get a thank you, a salute and see you back at duty.
Only those who have served can understand this.

Though its stupid to compare this with Kargil

You referred to Pakistani posts as being closer to the border, then referred to civilian structures. Essentially that was what I understood from the gist of your posts. Now you have said exactly what I implied. So how is it that the Pakistani MILITARY posts took greater damage as compared to the Indian posts?
That was my query in the first place.

Second, yes they present MORE targets which means that fire normally reserved for border posts may get mistakenly(or intentionally) directed to civilian structures.

I said damage on Pakistani side, never referred to military structures. From my second post onwards, I have repeatedly said that the structures were civilian. You can check if you wish. I never said that the damage to Pakistani military posts were more on this account, though the quantum of fire laid down by the BSF would have caused substantial damage. My specific point was that once targeting of civilian areas was opened up, the damage on the Pakistan side would have been greater.

Ofcourse it was, Congress & other parties were questioning his stand on the current stand off & we have two important state elections, people were started to question his election promises, so he had to say it.

But very immature behavior from many of the well regarded members over here.

That rings true for his supporters as well. If they were not rabid and to twist a saying "More Hindu than Sadhus" themselves. They would be shocked to see Modi take a very different behaviour vis-a-vis Pakistan and China. The man wants to focus on taking India out of(and pardon the example but it is pertinent) being mocked for lack of toilets..rapes.. and poverty.. to being a global leader by the middle of the 21st Century.
Modi's focus IMHO seems is on having a India that has is no longer associated with outsourcing and call centres but rather with flying cars and green energy. This goal cannot be achieved if it is in constant conflict( which does mean India not be ready for it, but not look for it) with its neighbours.
However, he is also a politician and one who wants to ensure his seat. That is the goal of all politicians worldwide. For that if he has to engage Pakistan in a short war or look the other way in a Muslim Genocide in India.. he will do it.

Only those who have served can understand this.

Those who have served seem to have not given their voices as much as the armchair generals have.

On the response of the Indian media it is quite comparable to Kargil.

But there is only talk of the quantum of fire by the BSF. There is little mention of the Pakistani response to give it any weight in terms of who fired more?

well done BSF... now keep it that way..10 times the response to any paksitani provocation.

So excitement of somemembers have only short life

And then there is this stupidity. Some people like to suck on their own testicles. Thread banned.

well don't BSF... now keep it that way..10 times the response to any paksitani provocation.

How do you know it was ten times? Did the United nations count the bullets?

and damn pakistanis were busy in multan jalsa

This is the point. While India was busy thumping its chest.. apart from social media.. the rest of Pakistan was "There was firing? Really?"

He's desperate to revive post Kargil scenario but he forgot call centres are no longer popular now.

The Rangers chief made a comment about the quantum of fire being laid down by the BSF ("mini war like"). Also the strength of the BSF is more than the Rangers, that alone would suggest more weapons at their disposal though both BSF & the IA seem to think that PA forces backed up the Rangers because of the number of mortars being fired from the Pakistani side. You are aware that this is pretty much a repeat of the last year when pretty much the same sort of retaliation came from the Indian side (after the beheadings) and that happened when MMS was PM. From all accounts, the Indian response authorised by MMS was very substantial and hard hitting, even more than this. This is less to do about Modi than is being made out though since Modi is in the middle of a campaign, he has spoken more than he would have normally wished to. Modi's part exists in the harder responses that has now been authorised which has been in place since June of this year. Nothing more.

Again, these are all based on off quoted statements and that too from the other side. More akin to the childish comparison of "my daddy" did so than anything quantifiable in terms of achievement..other than say civilians being bored holes into.

Don’t worry next time the Pakistan army will disguise themselves as Chinese troops and conquer India within a week and it will happen without a single bullet being fired.
