What's new

Our enemies rejoice as our government tries to push us further into Islamism

Turkey is neither a victim of Iranization nor is the country witnessing a Pakistanization.

By Pakistanization i meant there will be no Mullah cult or religious police ever ruling Turkey like Iran.

In Turkey you have retarded leftists and liberals who want Diyanet abolished.

If Diyanet gets abolished that means giving power to local imams and mullahs who go by the religion which they preach rather than the mainstream. We see how that turns out when a lot of them become warlords or terrorists.

I agree. Though we need to get rid of Cemaats/Tarikats ASAP.

afghanistan and iran were also modern states of those times . today both are under mullah .

They are under Mullah rule because both of those nations failed in their secularism.

They imposed it by force on a highly religious and traditional country which created a reaction to it.

Ataturk even once said the Afghan king Amatullah will be overthrown because his doing reforms the wrong way.

Us Turks are successful as we did not push the religious or the traditional class away.

Our reforms span much into Ottoman times was continued well into the Republic. Iran and Afghanistan tried to do it overnight. Now we have two fanatical regimes.

Because religion has always been traditional.

Modern and Traditional does not go together they clash with each other. Ever since the industrial revolution a lot of countries dropped religion in the name of capitalism.

Its always about making money. Nowadays you see the effects. Religion is becoming irrelevant as the day goes by. We see it as Christianity is falling.

Us Muslims dont like to admit it but we are next on the chopping board.

When a nation progesses in science and technology it leaves behind traditions, culture and religion. This has been going on ever since the Industrial Revolution.

I don't understand Turkish but from visuals i understand you tried to point toward Sufi/Tariqat out of Govt control as problem?

For decades radical groups inside Turkey were supported by the west. In the 80s and 90s these extremists were being arrested. Now with Erdoğan in power these people don't get touched. Sometimes they pose with guns and make cheap threats online, yet they rarely get touched.

The man speaking in the video was part of the Turkish high command (not sure who or exactly when the recording was from, probably after the coup in the late 90s). He explains how the west supports extremists in their attempt to destroy Turkey and establish an Islamic state.

F35 was refused due to geopolitical clashes.

Current Turkish leadership is corrupt. Erdoğan isn't even a Turk. All of their talk is meaningless. It's all for votes, nothing more.

We could respect our past empires while simultaneously respecting Ataturk. But our leadership is undermining Atatürk's legacy and they openly support people who attack Atatürk.

It's clear that they don't care about the societal division that they're causing.

If Erdogan is not a Turk then what is he?
