Look into WW1 Ottoman headgear you had many different headgear like the Fez, Enveriye, Kabalak, Kalpak, Bashlik and the German Stalhelm.

I find the Ottomans in WW1 an underrated period it may not be such times to be remembered but I feel like it has to learnt because the Republic of Turkey was born out of the ashes of the Ottoman Empire and many of the founding figures of Turkey have served in WW1.

Turks will come under great attack again, will be overwhelmed by enemys' power, and then muslims will rise to free Turkey from this occupation, thus Fath ul Qustuntunia. Many people interpret it wrongly.
