Yes I know its from Payithat regardless of what you think of the show. I like the shows soundtrack a lot.

This tune is awesome along with the footage of Ww1 and the Turkish independance war.

Video has an error too the man with the moustache is not Kemal Ataturk. When watching the video im like that man is not Ataturk at all.

Does anybody know who that commander is a lot of people are saying Fahrettin Pasha but does not look like him I think I could be wrong.

Sad how Fahrettin Pasha was dismissed even disowned by Sultan Vahdettin because he refused to surrender. Its good when he came back he was embraced as a hero and joined the Turkish independance war also becoming an ambassador for Turkey in Afghanistan.

I feel like Fahrettin Pasha would have been executed no doubt in those sham trials in Istanbul led by Damat Ferit Pasha.

In 1909, İsmail Zühtü and his band are assigned to meet Sultan Reşat, who is returning from European travel. İsmail Zühtü, who went to Thessaloniki with his band, specially composed the Thessaloniki Anthem, and Sultan Reşat, who liked the anthem very much, engages (military medal) him.

Man all I have to say is that Turkish military music is so rich. Now I realised how happy I am opening this thread.
