According to some news he was shot by his own guard to avoid capture, which makes a lot of sense.

every time USA slap us and we repeat same story of a chamar ab ke to mar ab ke to mar .shamefully our military not only lose the sovereignty and respect but now they have rating -100 .i like to kick if i got any one IN UNIFORM

Imran Bhai ISI since 9/11 have captured and handed the most elite of AQ but the retarded americans blame game never stops. In these circumstances things suggests that it is actually ISI efforts that have led the Americans to OBL(the capture of indonesian and umer). But these MF backstabbed us.Look what our neighbours are saying after this incident.

We too have capability to carry out surgical strikes: IAF Chief

NEW DELHI: As the world rejoiced over the killing of Al Qaida chief Osama bin Laden in a US commando action in Pakistan, Air Chief Marshal P V Naik today said India too has the capability to carry out such surgical strikes against terrorists but did not elaborate.

"India has the capability," he told reporters here when asked whether India can undertake surgical strikes against terrorists similar to that by the US. He, however did not elaborate.

The statement assumes significance as there had been demands after 2008 Mumbai terror attacks that India should carry out surgical strikes at terror camps in Pakistan.

On Osama's killing, Naik hoped it would reduce the impact or intensity of terrorism.

"There is one less terrorist in the world. He was an iconic figure on the terrorist world. It is good thing that he has been eliminated," he said while talking on the sidelines of the annual P C Lall memorial lecture here.

Asked if India was increasing its security measures after Osama's killing, Naik said, "He (Osama) controlled a large group. There is a chance that this group may do something in retaliation. So every sane man would increase his security status till you analyse. India is also doing the same."

So "Pakistan helped lead us to where he was hiding" means in Indian speak, that Pakistan did not help.

In most languages it means that Pakistan's help was important in tracking Bin Laden down.

I'm sorry I don't have time nor energy to indulge in trolling by bringing mine or your nationality into this. I do not know how my nationality is relevant, but I was simply quoting what your own president, Foreign Office and CIA chief was saying. Here are the links for your perusal again.

Pakistan's Zardari: Bin Laden Raid Was Not Joint Operation

This event of unauthorised action cannot be taken as a rule: FO

US feared Pakistan might ‘alert’ Bin Laden about raid: CIA

I'm not going through every single news article [MOD EDIT]

It is obvious the media, or large segments of the Indian and western media do want to play down Pakistan's role in this.

But Obama has made specific mention of it. It's quite clear.

The only part Pakistan may not have been privvy to was the attack. Though I doubt that also, since Pakistani helis were present.

Do not believe the cheap show, this time to respond to crises is more important than the accused, to remain calm, Pakistan.

Osama's gone, so now, what next ?
Well, we still have a long way to go, Ayman al-Zawahiri, Mullah Omar, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, Jalaluddin Haqqani and his son Sirajuddin Haqqani, Hakimullah Mehsud, Hafiz Gul Bahadur, Maulavi Nazir, and many more terrorist scums are out there planning and plotting to kill innocent children, women and men.

The war is not over!

ALL the news regarding this operation is coming from the international media so my friend it is advised not to take any even a single word as final.

If you could read, you'd understand the difference between a joint operation and providing the crucial intelligence for that joint operation.

I have spoken with a dozen of my neighbors in the last day. Every one of them thinks that "Pakistan" knew about bin Laden's hideout. On the other hand, I think ISI incompetence is a good defense. This is the only explanation as to how both of these things could be true: (1) the ISI did not know that an HVT, especially Osama, was in the Abbotabad house and (2) therefore, they were not sensitive to a US Navy Seal operation occurring there on that night. That is, IF the ISI knew Osama was in that house, you would think that they would then scramble like hell if some sort of live action started to occur there. So, I think ISI incompetance is "Pakistan's" best, and, possibly, true, defense against what my fellow Americans now believe about Pakistan.

I hate to repeat this but I would just because they took our website down for saying so initially, apparently both the higher ups in Washington and Islamabad knew where he was and which rogue elements of the Pak establishment were allowed to keep him where he was for quite some time now with mutual consent of DC and Isloo. Killing of Osama was just like pulling the rabbit out at an opportune time. Eyewitnesses described the convergence of "thousands of commandos", obviously they can't be American and gunships can't fly into Pakistan from Afghanistan. Eyewitnesses are even reporting PA chopper providing escort support to US choppers.

There is no defence on either side. Why is everyone in Pakistan silent and why is Obama and Hillary combo more hell bent on defending Pakistan than say Zardari or Kayani? Our site may have been taken down for merely speculating in our news section about the joint operation, but their drastic action on taking the site down will only raise more questions.

We have a saying in Pakistan "daal main kuch kaala hai" (loosely: there is something wrong with this dish). I whole heartedly support a rigorous investigation in Pakistan to find out who supported the man and no scapegoating of low level officers this time please.

On the contrary it is very broad statement..It could very well means if Pakistan wasn't a part WOT ..we would have never found Osama..who was hiding in Pakistan"..but what is specific is statement from CIA chief Leon Panetta..saying BBC News - Bin Laden: CIA head Leon Panetta feared Pakistan leaks.

i somehow belive the theory that Osama is alive and is under captivity with US....makes a lot of sense....No picture released ,I can understand....but why thehell was he buried so fast ?? i mean within hours of kiling him ?? really fishy

It's makes sense...there is something extremely fishy.

Off topic:

Who took the site down?
