40 km is nothing. Not even 1/3rd kf what those missiles give.

40 KM for ground to air version like the The Norwegian Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile . if that true then its a good option having both air to air and ground to air version with similar missile . more importantly it will be multiple option to attack Indian air force .

You are correct---. It would be very difficult to add to the Paf's arsenal---.

It won't be a replacement missile---but a turkish AA missile may become an additional missile---.

Paf may also look into making the aim 120 into air to surface missile---.

A missile try to be jack of all trades ends up you will excel in none of the role. French Mica missile is a great example. It's performance is mediocre and french now favour the meteor BVRAAM.

That is worst. US will never give the best especially for Turkish. Even Japan and UK got second rated. Only Israel gets the best from US.

Furthermore in the stage 3/final stage of flight. It reaches speeds in excess of Mach 6/7/8. Impossible to evade from those distances.

SD-10 is also BVR used by JF-17s. Since China has delivered long ranged BVR PL-15, so PL-10 HOBS missile can also be procured from China.
