Forget about the human rights thats another aspect not pressing one viz a viz UNSC.

The more important thing is the the role of India in making this entire region a nuclear flash point with Indian Army chiefs threatening a nuclear attack.




Russia, US, China with veto power are already facing the axe viz a viz vetoing different issues in UNSC. Its unlikely that either China or US or Russia will like India vetoing or siding with their rival country.

Indian army chief never threatened a nuclear attack because India will never use a nuclear bomb until and unless its being attracted by one..

Russia will always support India what ever case it may be.....
US for its own developments has supported India as Obama said
China will support India because India is one of the major Trade partner of China and in future it will become the biggest so china also started supporting India so at such a time China will not oppose India and make such a big loss.....

India never transfered Nuclear Tech to any other country for money like you people did India has a very good Nuclear proliferation and seeing that it was given special status in the NSG and will enter the NSG in few years India has given in a written statement that India will never use Nuclear weapons against Pakistan until and unless it is attacked by one...

Longer it takes to reform the Security Council; stronger will be the India’s chances. India will be a central part of any reformed Security Council for sure and the reasons are different for different counties.

USA: Wants a counter weight to China apart from a share in India’s markets (both civilian and military)

Russia: Don’t want to out done by USA and would like to retain its status as a number one supplier of Military hardware to India

Britain: It hardly has any voice now. Diligently follows USA and also has eyes on Indian markets

France: Markets and also want an Independent voice in Security Council that is now too favorable to USA

China: Would not directly say ‘yes’. If the all other supports, China will not oppose and also has eyes on India’s markets

Human right issues for sure will have no impact on India's candidature. After USA's support, the question is not "whether" but "when".

Do you think China will say yes to a terrorist nation to become part of UNSC that easy? China has always condemned India's terrorism in Kashmir and has rejected visas to Indian Army officers on same issue. Now after its such a tough stance on Kashmir it is impossible for China to simply say yes. And as market is concerned, to how many countries you will give your market??? You cannot go beyond saturation level. America, Russia, France, Britain, blah blah and China!! Come on, India is a country not a world! China has access to the markets throughout the world and major factor you are forgetting is Pak-China exemplary relation. You cannot discount that.
