While COIN ops are good and dandy, tracking and killing their handlers in Afghanistan would be a useful tool. It may also be feasible to track down Indian handlers, then tracking down their families in India and killing them enmass.

The FC does not have a mandate to operate inside Afghanistan, unless we have concrete info about where these elements are and can plan a quick snatch and grab, there's no way we can send our men into hostile territory to 'look' for the enemy.

Not that we are not capable , but we dont do hot-pursuit ops just for the sake of it, nor do we harp about it when we dont intend to do it unlike our eastern neighbor.

Sir hot persuit is one thing. Covert ops would have to be beefed up. Thanks to Nawaz and Imran's siasatdani, we have given TTP a full year to regroup.

I think Pak Army needs to start operation in Balochistan province with the start of NWA operation, these rented terrorists should be destroyed for good.

Army has already said, they need 4 weeks to clean Balochistan province from terrorists.
