@ hindesi,

You are one messed up character, posting left right and center, obviously something is chewing your ***.
There is a four part BBC documentary for those living in oblivion like yourself. There is a fine line between digesting and digressing.

.
dude what are you saying RAW is god!!

From what I am reading here, it sounds like. I thought RAW does nothing these days, seems like people will disagree.

.
Hope that satisfies your cravings. !!!!

No it did not...Because again you have copied some article...What i am asking is your POV...Let me help here....

The political ramifications of Operation Bluestar become readily visible when one realizes that it was planned by Prime Minister Indira Gandhi long before it occurred.
What are those ramifications that made you think Operation Bluestar was planned by Indira Gandhi long before it occurred???

It was afterwards learned that army units had been practicing on a model of the Golden Temple complex months before the attack.
What made you think this is true??? Do you know how long the operation went on....Under what circumstance was tanks used??? Secondly if this is true that IA was practicing it much before the actual D-day then why IA did not bring in Tanks immediately and let so many casualities of soldiers?? Or are you saying since most of the army consist of Sikhs they let that happen...Sikhs being killed inside or outside who cares..after all they were sikhs...See how absurd this sounds???

To erase the national embarrassment Indira Gandhi suffered from the Sikhs' airing of their legitimate political grievances, and in searchi of political gain, countless thousands of Sikhs were murdered. And no one was held accountable.

What national embarrassment are you referring to??? Sikhs have hardly any role to play in Indian politics apart from 13 Lok sabha seats...if at all the idea was to get hindu votes than the ideal target would be muslims(with whom orthodox hindu's have grievance)...Have you heard about Hindu-Sikh problems before Operation Blue Star?? In fact there were no problems until IG was killed by her Sikh body guards...So how on this earth IG planned everything in advance and yet failed to achieve anything out of it but got killed???

P.S : There is not a single person who do not condemn Operation Blue Star(if there is then he/she is missing some nuts)...However just labelling it as a conspiracy to teach Sikhs a lesson is a little far-fetched.... Bhindrawala did raise some legitimate issues however the path he choose to make govt. hear was uncalled for and deserved some action...Though IG and after her death Rajiv Gandhi both failed to read pulse of Punjab resulting in lot of innocent lives...

Instead of running around in circles, you just need to read Mark Tully's article which i posted. The guy is hardly inclined to be considered pro Pakistan.

.
No point in discussing with people adamant in self denial, hence there is plenty of food for your thoughts.

 anyone can copy paste articles, I hate to repeat myself, but what's the point of this thread and what exactly are you looking to discuss.

As the thread starter, one would assume that you'd have some thoughts of your own on the matter. There's more than one way to look at op. Blue star, so let's get to it then.

.
Simple, he very well knows what the counter attack will be if he explains what he wants to. You know, you can still throw stones in a glass house as long as they don't hit at anything:azn:

The point is you people are always ranting about democracy, secularism, India shining etc, while always maligning Pakistan with fanatics, Talibans. The '71 war, which happened long before operation Blue Star, is still being gloated, in fact there is a thread related to it, has been running for over a week. How can you people point fingers at others, while your own history is tarnished with Golden Temple blood shed, the Gujrat genocide, the rape and burning of Christian Nuns and Fathers, the Chati Singpura massacre to name but a few.
The caste system thrives in your society. A some what controversial news item on a girl being auctioned in Pakistan was quickly splashed on the forum by an Indian member but let's not discuss about Indian farmers and their families or the scumming of Surat diamond workers. If this all sounds over the top, then you should enhance your knowledge by reading the title, "The Soft Target", that should get your attention and clear any cobwebs lodged on your minds.

Wait a minute...Is there any Indian member who is denying any of this that you have pointed out??? All we are asking is what is your POV...You have started the thread so you have to guide the discussion and the first step is to share your POV....Is this too much to ask??

Instead of running around in circles, you just need to read Mark Tully's article which i posted. The guy is hardly inclined to be considered pro Pakistan.

:hitwall: Dude you are too much... Did i challenged the article or have asked your view point on some of the experts.....Mark Tully is no god and like me and you he can also make mistake....Nevertheless if you are supporting his view point than answer my questions....Does it make sense or i am still circling???

.
Hei all just stop posting comments on this article... the foolish poster will not understand what is the objective of the forum :)

.
There you go again accusing me of creating the video, how can you even consider any healthy debate with people in self denial, hence what's the 20 page worth. Here is some enhancement to your maligned knowledge.

www.outlookindia.com | What If There Was No Operation Bluestar?

Against all instincts in me telling me not to feed the troll, I gave in to the temptation of posting here after reading through teh article that you posted.

This article confirm your lack of intelligence. In future, you could first read the articles that you post. Its written by Mark Tully and he talks about Blue Star was a mistake but has still not led to the disintegration of India after 25 years but in fact has made the nation stronger. All in all the article is favorable to India, something you would call as being pro-India.

He seems to be blinded by "I hate India" sentimemt so badly...that he forgot to read the entire article....and just posted this link and proved that he is a big time ...:flame:....LOL.

Here is some help: Coming from the link Posted by Windjammer

"I used to think that 1984 was the most momentous year of my long stay in India. Now I wonder whether India would be a very different place if Bluestar, the mutinies by Sikh soldiers, Indira Gandhi's assassination, the Sikh massacres, the installation of a prime minister who had never held any ministerial office, and the Bhopal gas disaster had not taken place. Looking back on that year, my image of India is reinforced. I have always seen her as a mighty ocean liner. She is sometimes tossed about by winds, and rolls and pitches in seas which would sink a smaller, less stable vessel, but she weathers the storm, and sails on. If all those storms the liner sailed through in one short year have had no lasting impact on her, I am tempted to say that the answer to that question 'what would have happened in India if?' will always be a dull 'what did happen anyhow'."-Mark Tully

OK so which part of this has already been discussed did you not understand??

.
ok ok i can understand windjammer ok india is not secular ok now u can go in peace wait india is not shining

but wait a second who is our prime minister a sikh (windjammer reaction-oh no india becomes secular again)

.
Thanks man! I dont know your intentions but would like to tell you that you r only ascertaining the facts with these videos

My Sikh friends, what had happened is unfortunate... but is there any justification which can be given for all the arms and ammunitions inside a place of worship.

India is United and our sikh brothers are all Indians and they do understand the feelings behind it. Infact this is the only country to have a sikh president and a sikh primeminister, a muslim president and India is learning from its mistakes as well. a young democracy which is still a long way to go forward to be a advanced society.

when u see some1 with tanks and ak47 who want to attack u......

I assume by this one-liner that you are criticizing India or "Hindus" in particular.

I again say (for last time).....there is a thread already existing for this where you can give your POV. Just go through that and many of your doubts will be cleared. :coffee:
