Even if India puts up fencing.. these people will find some or other context for India bashing, its their psyche.

True. But atleast on our part, the border would be resolved and we can go ahead and fence it. One of their claims of India grabbing their border areas would be nullified. AL can claim great victory at home! That really ought to put nationalists behind them. Then the teesta deal and whatnot, they can go really all out claiming they did all that while BNP could do nothing. Should help them quite a bit domestically.

And once the borders are geographically contiguous, the fencing is better, and other equipment used at the LoC to monitor infiltration can be brought here.

Its an Indian enclave deep inside Bangladesh territory, near Phulbari as can be seen on the map. And I doubt there is any BSF killing people at this place. Another BS propaganda is busted. For me anything posted by OP has zero credibility from now on.

You have sent a very important enclave map. These enclaves were created as a result of a war and a subsequent treaty between the Kingdom of Koochbihar and Bengal sometime in 1580s. The former annexed many parts of Bengal during a time of continuous 30 year old war between Mughals of Delhi and Pathan power of Bengal.

This long war started, in reality, long before 1576 and ended in 1605. Isha Khan Afghan, the Supreme Chieftain of Bengal, went himself to fight the Koochbihari troops sometime after 1580. He expelled them to the north what is now known as Koochbihar Zilla in India.

A Treaty was signed between the two contending forces. But, before all matters were settled between the two, Chieftain Isa Khan rushed back to his Capital Kotravu in Sonargaon after hearing a news that the Arakani Mogh navy has invaded it. So, many patches of lands in Bengal proper remained the properties of the Kingdom of Koochbihar and many Bengal enclaves remained in Koochbihar.

About a speciality of some of these enclaves. For example, inside a BD enclave in India there is an Indian enclve, in which there may be another BD enclave.
