Op Sinai: Egyptian Anti-Terrorism Efforts

@ this rate, terrorists will laminated in a couple month...The number of casualties given here are as comparable as those given by Egypt in the 67 war a week after her forces were overrun by the IDF...We are in the internet era..nothing can be hidden from the reality....
We are all encouraged that Egypt is fighting the Islamic scrooge, but let stay real ..

Unless you can prove otherwise bugger off! Ansar Beit Almaqdis has admitted the casualty numbers are accurate in a previous interview by Reuters.

Casualties: Egypt 306 Terrorists 1044

Unless you can prove otherwise bugger off! Ansar Beit Almaqdis has admitted the casualty numbers are accurate in a previous interview by Reuters.
Reuters is paid to write article glorifying Egyptian forces...Reality, Bit el mukdis is still running free in Sinai..And all the one killed, were the IDF action...Not Egyptian forces..

When you start putting casualty number that are believable, then I'll take you seriously..until then....you guess the rest..

And all the one killed, were the IDF action
Will you stop being butt hurt all the time the amount of hatred

Its your butt that is in the line of fire...not mine...I know desert warfare better that any of you keyboard warrior...What you reported is a big lie...If you are serious and you want PDF's to give some respect to Egypt, then print the truth...Nobody is gullible enough to believe that Beit El mukdiss has lost that many elements, since they are not that many of them to start with...

Sir you are wrong. And I have a source to back up my claim unlike you
You still didn't answer my question ?
Hardly! Egypt may have increased their number after they moved her citizens from the Israeli border and destroyed Rafah...There is no better tool for creating dissent when you destroy somebody's house and erase their past in few minutes...

The video is old it is from around the time morsi was in power. Now do you believe that the egyptain army isn't fighting a couple of hundred terrorists hiding in a mountain.

This video is old .. maybe even before MB came to power ..
At the time of SCAF ruling I think ..
And even if Apaches were monitoring the situation .
It was a big funeral .. dozens of children were there ..
ABM had a big influence at that time due their claims about fighting Israel not the Egyptian gov.
Many tribes were supporting them very hard
But after they started to call for independent Islamic Sinai "Emara Islamia" !! , making their insurgency and things escalated after the first Rafah massacre .. Things have changed ..

ABM /Sinai Province have manged to kill hundreds of security and army personals .
Many things led to that number .
But this forum is not a place to discuss that.

All I can tell that things are much better now than before .
It's an urban warfare with lots of suicide bombers

" A suicide car bomber has killed a civilian and wounded 25 Egyptian policemen by driving his car into a security barracks in the city of El Arish, security sources say.
Tuesday's attack is the latest in a string of attacks in the Sinai Peninsula.
The Sinai is home to armed groups who have carried out similar attacks that have killed hundreds of soldiers and police since the army toppled Mohamed Morsi as president in 2013.
A roadside bomb killed three Egyptian soldiers in Sinai on Monday. "

" 'Shattered glass'
In the first attack, the suicide bomber drove a water tanker filled with explosives into the gate at the rear entrance to the police compound in El-Arish shortly after 06:00 (04:00 GMT), security officials said.
As the vehicle approached, police fired on it, detonating the explosives inside. The blast killed the bomber and a civilian worker at a nearby electricity company who had been driving by the compound.

Interior ministry spokesman Hani Abdul Latif said the death toll could have been much higher had the bomber been able to enter the barracks."
"The security forces dealt with the vehicle near the checkpoint of the base, which saved a lot of lives," he told the AFP news agency. "The wounded policemen suffered only minor injuries from shattered glass."

A massive explosion as we can see

When you start putting casualty number that are believable, then I'll take you seriously..until then....you guess the rest..

I have no reason for wanting you to take me seriously.

Reuters has done several pieces on the fight in the Sinai, plenty of which criticized and framed the Armed Forces as incapable. Now, pay attention to this:-

The onus is on YOU to prove YOUR assertions. That means provide EVIDENCE that contradicts or refutes the claims. The onus is also on YOU to PROVE that IDF operations are taking place in the Sinai instead of Egyptians.

Except what is happening in the Sinai is not desert warfare! It is COIN in urban environments.

The most modest estimate put ABM as 1000 fighters the most liberal one put them at 16000 fighters.

Again, PROVE the figures WRONG by providing EVIDENCE.

You have to understand that illiterate people have tendency to be easily swayed by a charismatic person especially if the talk was religious. Having said that, it does not mean that all of them are terrorists or giving them shelter. Among the 900,000 bedouins that live there, that are the most likely to dissent against any rules, they are probably one to two percent that took arms against the Egyptian government, to that you have to count the one that grew dissatisfied

Whatever you want to call it, the dissidents are of limited number, around 1000 to 2000 extremely mobile elements..If they were 16,000 Egyptian forces will be able to locate them...So far, they haven't , that means that their number are limited and killing 500 of them in a month, they must have counted the revenge killing by your soldiers...

I am not in Egyptian court and I don't have to prove anything to you...I am using factual events and interpolating them with the figure put forward by Egyptian participants including you, in this forum.
Egyptian forces are learning from fighting a large scale war to fighting insurgency. All the countries that lived what Egypt is facing know have to go thru the learning curves. Algeria did it, Syria did it and Egypt has to go thru it...So don't give us any 67 numbers, if you want to be really taken seriously.

No, you're not in court you are on a forum of debate which means you engage in conversation with someone and try to prove your points, something you are woeful at.

So, where is the evidence that the IDF and not Egyptian forces are conducting operations (while ignoring the fact that there have been over 300 Egyptians casualties)?
