Blaming Baloch sardars is an old news now.
I may incorrect on the number but there are between 15 to 20 big tribes and Sardars in Balochistan. Only two to three are anti-development namely Bugti and one other. Ok so there could be more.
The rest of the tribes and their sardars are not anti-development or anti-pakistan.
It is the failure of Pak educated elite that it cannot show major development for any of the areas in Balochistan.
It is time we quit blaming and start building.
Peace,.
it's an old news but that old news is carrying on for decades now.....
two main priorities right now:
a.) equip local police with means to ensure law & order - not just in big cities but in rural areas as well
b.) bring literacy and education levels up to a half-respectable number at least......it's pathetic that the largest province (albeit sparsely populated) province has such appalling socio-economic indicators and low development
there is an issue of contention regarding "missing persons" --- those who posed either a minimal threat and/or those who are detained without charges filed should be released.....the numbers are often disputed. I believe quietly the government has released several of these "missing" persons and that's an important step to take.
those who were caught with banned weapons and explosives and/or repeat offenders should not be spared
we can't have true prosperity in Baluchistan until there's law & order and a semblance of normalcy in order to bring in investment that will bring thousands of jobs to Baluch brothers and sisters......and at the same time, without the investment - things will remain the same.
we must find a way to break this vicious circular cycle.....this catch-22.
Baluch are patriotic citizens and they deserve much better than what they have now.....the onus is on the federal govt. and provincial govt. to see to it that basic services and provisions are afforded to the common man in the province.
and we must certainly do something about this issue of sectarian killings as well - since they are a sure way to create more problems and head-aches -- though that is a more seperate issue not related entirely just to Baluchistan
