Only the Greatest Fools of the Family Join the Navy…

Hot chow make a good recruitment. That's why only fools joined the Army, all other people have either gone to the Navy or heaven.
....

The old ' my car is better than your' ..argument never dies.

More than the service you join, its the outfit within the Service that makes life wonderful or miserable, Great friends & memories for life or the forgettable kind whom you'd like to erase ASAP.

.
Did you command an abrams or what?... And what is/was your rank?

My TOE says I am a troop commander for a Bradley Troop. 16 Bradleys. But I was in a Humvee when i was deployed in Iraq and I was flying a desk and wasn't in charge (Intel officer S-2), when I was deployed in Afghanistan.

I was a Captain when I was separated.

lol........

this only my personal experience...........

There are times that I missed being at war, at the very front, see the whole things go down. You got the sense of participation, like you really make things happen.

Not so when bullet start flying over your head, front, back, left and right of you.

I don't remember why I choose the Army already, but I can tell you this, the "Fight with the Best" shiite did not actually fly. Because they all think they are the best.......

My father is a Gunner... M-109A5s!

My brother was selected for Navy, but my Mom didnt let him go, he joined Army and is now a LtCol........So I guess its true to an extent, people prefer Army and Airforce over Navy.

It's hard to be gun bunny these days......

You want it fast, you want it hard, and you want it on point........Literally impossible. But then, so does sex........

American soldiers lack willpower. They are lackluster and only win because of technology. That force multiplier only goes so far though.

Good to know that my family elder is a "great fool" having joined the navy and served in the 1971 war and was part of couple of operations in 1980s while his batchmates from his college had lucrative jobs elsewhere. Proud of him.

This is what the Japanese say about the US military during WW2. See how they ended up now?
