Sir i will go further...Jewish theology is more closer to Islamic theology as compared to christian theology....there is a
book called "Jewish theology" written by some Jewish writer often quoted by Hamza Yusuf (an american muslim scholar), the last chapter is comparison
between and Islamic theology and Jewish theology....in that chapter its written that rabbinical athourities accept Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as a vehicle of Divine intervention (meaning some one in contact with divine) but they regard that he was not sent for jewish people.....so there is so much which
could be done to improve the relationship b/w these two communities.
Salam-Shalom group takes groups of Jewish people to mosques and groups of Muslims to synagogues where they pray
together and talk about lives of prophets and spiritual father of both Abraham (PBUH) ....hopefully peace will prevail in M.E
