Ongoing armed struggle in Myanmar.

I am very disappointed at China blocking UN condemnation against the Myanmarese Barman animals.

Guys, would relations between BD and China suffer if BD was to start supplying arms to Rohingya and other rebels?
It's BD's decision, the bilateral relationship won't be influenced.

blcok the UN condemnation resolution is just to keep China's interests and influence in Myanmar. Rohingyas problem is not our business at all. Whatever BD doing under the table is your business. We don't care.

Its just a political gesture, nothing in essence.

If there is UN subscribed condemnation on BD, we will block it as well.

We fully aware of the "Great Game"presently being staged and their strategic implications for this region, be rest assured.:-):-):-):-):-)

I still hope Myanmar can reach ethnical reconciliation. Having conflicts at both north and south is a stupid idea.

Ummah chummah thing which is so much hyped by Muslims.

1.We'll be inviting UN sanctions.
2.We'll have a hostile Neighbour called Myanmar in our border. Do we want a India-Pakistan like relation in our borders?
3.It'll harm our relation with China. For decades China has been the biggest enabler of Myanmar. Look at all the projects they are doing in Myanmar.

Things have to be done diplomatically. If Muslim world cares then, Indonesia and Malaysia should put pressure on them through ASEAN. And there has has to be resolution against them at UN supported by Saudi, Iran, Turkey and their allies. We are doing what we can. We are already hosting many Rohyngas. We have asked Myanmar, UN and whoever we could reach to help solve this problem peacefully. Asking us to do more is asking too much.
China's main concern is the oil pipeline at the Rokhine state. Myanmar government shall give Rohinyas the citizenship if they willing to stay in Myanmar. And I don't think send in weapons to arm Rohingyas is a good idea in the long term, it may cause unnecessary retaliation from Myanmar side.
Myanmar shall give fair treatment to Rohingyas, that's the only solution. As long as Rohingyas is not seeking independence, Myanmar goverment shall not force them to the corner. A peaceful ethnic reconciliation is a must.

My question is: can Ang San Sukyi control the Myanmar army under her ethnic reconciliation policy. The idea of 'Great Burmese Nationalism' is very dangerous.

Conflict in this region doesn't fit China's national interets.

It is too late brother. Things are moving towards a messy independence struggle. MM army is too weak to confront a armed group. They are better suited for ethnic cleansing murder and shooting at civilians.

The amount of distrust created by MM, I don't think rohingyas will accept citizenship any more. In the long run China will also have to accept reality on the ground. Chinese pipeline does not have anything to do with it. It does not go through Rohingya area.

The Chinese government is sometimes definitely stupid and naive as fck, I don't like many of their foreign policy.

Rohingyas problem is a big headache for BD as well. Over millions Rohingyas refugees live in BD, and Myanmar doesn't admit they are ethnic group of Myanmar and call them Bengalis.

I think Indonesia and Malaysia shall take more responsility taking in Rohingyas.

If Rohingyas looking to build a independent nation, I'm expecting a long-haul conflict in this region. It's another world class poser left by the UK colonizer.

Lol, for what? These guys bring extremist ideology in first place, looking at ARSA supporter coming from various Rohingyas refugees communities, and they had links with terror outfit from Mid East to bring in weapons and trainning.

Any other country would have invaded Myanmar long ago, for this hostile act of labelling Rohingya BD'shi and then pushing them into BD.
Even though the Rohingyas are suffering now,
in the long run both they and their land will
become part of BD. This is now inevitable as
BD'shi people now hate Myanmar.
