I remember General Raheel Shareef saying he doesn't need extension because he believes the young army commanders know very well how to look after their country but Musharaff, Kiani and Bajwa loved the chair too much. General Bajwa was the worse because he is highly political even though he claims he is not, i know in AJk he is close to many corrupt political leaders, he must be getting millions.

I can tell you, they are the same if not worse than Zardari, Nawaz, politicians and the judges. All eat from the same plate but at times fight among themselves over the biryani. This is a fact.

Not a good idea to grant extension at this time, it can be demoralizing for other officers who worked really hard only to get disappointed. An entire course/batch of senior officers will be wasted.

Right decision at the right time...General Bajwa is wartime general for all intents and purposes. It's a war like situation on the loc and his strategy is working brilliantly. You don't change leaders in n the middle of a fire fight...

It takes a gentleman not to take a extension. And another gentleman not to grant one. Literally fucked the institution. Looks like both are after their own interest. The new COAS may not have agreed with Imran policies.
