Actually people living abroad wish a weaker rupee. We were able to get nearly 100 rupees before but now 80. Good for sending money or vacation.

But weak rupee sucks for average Pakistani. Vacation outside country is expensive as well as domestic goods and imported stuff also getting expensive.

Not necessarily, if the dollars are used by the SBP to buildup reserves then this supply wont go to the market so will have little impact on exchange rate.
