Oh Dear Indians, Whatever Happened To The ''Kill Switch'' !

But U.S system is bit different, they can shoot you but you can't lock on them.
But US jets can lock on each other? How do other airforces lock on USAF jets during training exercises?

So just to be clear, other countries participating in say red flag etc can't lock on US jets to make simulated kills?

If the jets they are flying are U.S made, they can't further it depends on the countries.

Kill switch was there .... but not on F-16. Indian Air Defense pushed that Kill Switch and result was a own goal on 27th Feb. ;)

ISLAMABAD (Online) - Despite being a key ally in the war against terrorism in which Pakistan have rendered innumerable sacrifices, the United States is extending military assistance to Islamabad under strict conditions and stipulations, reflecting the nature of relations between the two countries.

According to sources, Washington will deliver 18 F-16 fighter jets to Pakistan Air Force (PAF) by the end of this month under a series of conditions including an assurance from Pakistan that aircraft would not be used in any conflict with India.

During last week’s strategic dialogue between India and the US, the Indian leaders had conveyed to their counterparts in Washington their concerns over the US military assistance to Pakistan. Besides assuring Indian side, Washington for the first time came out open to state that it was taking steps to ensure that its military aid to Pakistan would not be used against India.

I used an old article in reference to so called ''Kill Switches''.
The term has been used many times by the Indians both to convince themselves and in an effort to tell Pakistanis that their F-16s are all but redundant.

Call it kill switch or whatever, day US perceive PAF F-16s are direct threat to their national Interest, these F-16s aren’t moving an inch.

In US, Even an apple user can erase his data or disable his iPhone or MacBook remotely, if it’s stolen or lost.

.. but not for Indians. Not in a million years.
android or apple users in Pakistan also can do this.but it needs internet access for doing it remotely. if a thief removes internet access before switching on the phone then do some modifications to remove these security meaures.it is possible to switch on the phone and data will not erase.

Shooting down of Su-30 is the first kill of it by F-16?
