ANKARA — The Associated Press

A Kurdish terrorist group has claimed responsibility from Sunday's suicide attack in Istanbul's Taksim Square that injured 32 people, pro-Kurdish Fı*** news agency reported Thursday.

Fı*** News agency reported on its website that the Kurdistan Freedom Falcons, an offshoot of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK, claimed responsibility for the attack.

The group operates in Turkish cities and has claimed several deadly bombings in past years.

The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the United States and the European Union.
