Official unofficial smart phone saga ! Which one should I buy?

Dear members what are the pros an con of official and unofficial phone specifically Chinese xiaomi or other phone. I want to buy xiaomi redmi note 8 pro which offering 25000 official price for 4 gb ram64 rom vs 21000 for same configuration for unofficial phone.


Are this unofficial international smart phone specifically recent Xiaomi redmi note 8 pro will face any problem using in Bangladesh or getting software update or after sell service from authorise support center?

The fake phone is fake....any similarity is only cosmetic.

You will get android updates but you will not get any official xiaomi updates. Think on it for it a second...how would they know to push the update when they are unaware of the existence of the phone.

You can use the unofficial one without any problem. These phones are not registered in BD. Just BD govt dont get any Tax in these phones and the phone companies dont know if you are using these in BD. Apart from this all are same.

I am not sure what you mean. I would advise you to get the official stuff. For example i would never buy an iphone outside of UK as there is no such thing as international warranty.

You get what you pay for... something always worth remembering.

The fake phones use low quality processors, outdated MTK chipsets which are too slow to use after like 2 weeks. Don’t even go near them !!!

Xiaomi is an emerging brand and they got some damn good phone.
Go for it with eyes closed.
only thing you have to make sure is to buy from an authentic online servcie..
