The National Academy, the only joint Services institution in the world where cadets straight out of school train to become the defenders of the nation. This is the place where boys become men! It takes three years to achieve that, but then there’s one more year of advanced training in respective defence establishments after graduating from the NDA before one finally becomes a commissioned officer.
Yes! It’s an unforgettable three years!

An officer makes a presentation of a ship simulator
at the Naval Training Center at NDA
Entrance to the cadets mess, one of the largest in the world
with a seating capacity of 1800 cadets! The entire inside including the
floor is made of Burma teak with the pillars and roof embellished with
beautiful carvings. A sight to behold, only the lucky get to see it!
