It does remind one of Partition violence brother. I was remembering the stories my elders told me of their trip from the border of Kashmir and Punjab during the initial stages of the violence.

Young women used to hide in metal drums, lest any Sikh or Hindus catch sight of them. Elders would hide children away in their shawls.

These are evil people who we are dealing with. They dont have humanity in them.
