The only part in ur story I don't want to believe is the "ahem" part. I mean why would a spirit want to do that? They don't have any physical urges you know.

There is one hanging or attached to our main House door ( Not gate ) . It must be used by the horse before being used in my opinion .

You know in our side there is something called "Ghura Paak" or Horse Hooves
Has the hooves of a horse, but is otherwise human. Some stories show it as helpful, while others call it so hideous that when it looks at you, you literally die. Ghora paak is one of the most feared ghosts among Assamese folks. A distant cousin of the European Centaur, this ghost is also half horse and half human. Ghora paak is mostly seen near river banks, ponds and swampy areas, especially at night. People say Ghora Paaks are capable of complete metamorphosis into humans and can even 'control' us.

And worst is they know your name.......

One question. What was the age(speculation) of the girl ghost. If not 18+ then you should be rounded up for an inquiry.

Never look at feet as well.

One thing important is to keep window part rolled down. Apparently the nasty gets scared off by its own reflection.

Still this is the only kinda stories I have not heard in real life so I find it a lil hard to believe in them.

The way mine felt (both times) was it wasnt really concious decision, but more of a transit of something by coincidence....since it lasted only a few moments. In fact I think the dream started going bad the 2nd time once I subconsciously started feeling something was happening.

Both times woke up, couldn't move, struggled to make a groan, felt like I was being suffocated and then sleep crushed me again. It felt like the world was sitting on me (but no pain).....It never happened before or since....both times were the same bed, same hot climate and it was an afternoon nap.

It was more interesting now that I look back on it. I think you guys are the first I really talked about it with in this detail.

Twice in the hot heat of singapore. I have woken up but couldnt move my body like something really heavy and invisible was sitting on me. Scientifically they have a name and explanation for it....but it sure felt really weird and scary. One time it even combined with a bad dream i had and really messed me up that day....because it really sucks having a nightmare and not even being able to move when you wake up and having to let sleep take over again and the "presence" win kind of.

There are plenty of stories about this, it is unreported because people are too scared to tell them on being Embarrassed or ridiculed. It is as common as ghost sightings....

Secubus for male victims and Secubii for female victims, the female Victim stories are the bit more horrifying ones...

Because they are very conscious of their feet (which are turned backwards). If they notice you looking at them, you become a target.

My most recent experience was last night. Since I had a day off today, I was reading a book after I got back from a bday party. I might have dozed off in between when I heard a bang(must be 3am), I heard several bangs and then a bang on my door.
Almost at the verge of having a heart attack, without a clue what to do next, my brain worked with lightening speed and it struck me.... it's was our newspaper guy. He drops newspapers at 3-3:30 am.
This is not the first time that cartoon has scared me.

More often than not, its your mind playing tricks on you. I remember this summer holiday, was around 10, I was at my village home. Proper monsoon storm around 8-9 o clock at night, had dinner, power cut, no one fired up the back up generator. Woke up around 2 in the morning to pee, I can hear someone turning pages of book/newspaper. The house is pitch dark, couldn't even muster the courage to go to the loo, go back to the bed, the turning of page continues, I am hoping it stops, at the same time hoping it doesn't stop, let the ghost be engrossed in his book, that way it won't hurt me. Eventually fall asleep, wake up in the morning, I can still hear someone turning the pages. Its daylight, so am feeling all brave now, go to the room, see a calendar that had fallen off the wall in the storm and got wedged under the table, one of its pages was getting flipped over and over again by the breeze. Feel stupid, convince myself that there is no thing as a ghost. Tell my sisters about it, they laugh about it till this day

We also call Horse Ghur . In Kashmir Tasrup Dar is famous . No idea if its evil but it has long nails and few other features I don't know . Many People have told about their encounters with it .

I too fear darkness. When in hostel I hated to sleep alone when my roommate used to go on a vacation.
I feel this way when I reach kerala.
I find it very difficult to sleep during nights.
