I remember distinctly a real life experience of mine

I was riding my bike in broad daylight.. Was passing through a village road.. Fields in both sides but no crops there.. From a distance i saw a old lady standing by the left side of the road... She was having her head covered.. By the looks i thought she is pretty old.. I was thinking she wants a lift or want to cross the road bcz there is only empty fields on the other side..

I went ahead and then finally tried to see from right rear view if the lady has crossed over the road .. There was nothing.. Saw left mirror... Nothing..

I breaked hard and looked back.. There was no one.. Left and right vision of mine - only empty fields.. not even a bird..

I came to home and told my relatives.. The whole housefolks banged me.. Elderly ppl took me to a temple and i had to do pooja.. and i was advised never to see in rear view or stop ever again..

No I 'm not watching it. For next 3 weeks I'll be studying way beyond midnight. I can't let my subconscious mind play tricks on me. I have stopped watching horror movies. It effects my imagination.

Btw my experience was not nightmarish. I saw something which didn't see me. A harmless image of my great grandfather.

Its pretty common knowledge for those who are open to this sort of thing. Me and a close friend are pretty heavily into this. When we ride on the highway at night, for example, we always keep something bungeed to the pillion seat, so that it is not unoccupied ....
