The contrast of two visits-that of comrade Hu to France and that of Obama to India. The former is mainly economic with the objective of sustaining the economic growth of China while the latter is purely strategic and military that of selling a maximun of WMD and selling of the most deadly US weaponry to India. All these weaponry and WMD are aim towards China in view of exercising a kind of military pressure and blackmailed on the No1 US rival.
According to BBC the main objective of Obama's visit is to sell a maximun of fighter jets, nuclear missile technology, military training, etc to India in view of creating as much job in the US as possible. The latter is no more capable in competiting against China on industrial products for instance the US is no more producing civilian cargo vessels while it has plenty of facilities producing exclusively military ships. Thus military industry is becoming the No 1 industry in the US. So India will help in creating jobs and sustaining the US military production.
China is mainly investing in its economy, India is mostly investing on WMD and US military equipment while 800 million of Indians are living in abject poverty with no access to toilets, basic hygiene, health care and education. India's human development index is lower than that of Pakistan and ranked same along the poorest African Sub Saharan countries. The Ambani, Bollywood, Cricket and Mittal are just mirage in a world of abject shame and poverty and the West is dreaming that India would surpass China in 2011. Same had been mentioned by the western economic gurus in 2005 that India would surpass China in 2008. But what we see in 2010, India is still the 10th nation in the world while China has become No 2 in 2010. China had successfully organized the Olympic and World expo despite the sabotage and bad media coverage by the Western nations. THe UN has acknowledged China as having the capacity to organize world events. By contrast India had struggled to organize a declining and regional event (CWG) despite western backing.
