well they tried to assassinate Castro for more than 100 time and they failed every time maybe it's the case with Chavez.Hezbollah has an interesting presence in Latin America; especially Bolivia, Columbia, Venezuela and Argentina
I guess the influence survived because there are Arab-origin Syrians and Lebanese who migrated to Latin America several generations ago.
