Na, he is from Zafarwal (Sialkot), Nusrat was from Faisalabad.

Btw let me share how i was introduced to Punjabi (I am a Pashtoon that you know). One of my cousin who is in army btw, was watching warish shah movie the one juhi chawla acted in. This is summer 2007. So i asked him to give me the CD and then i went to my house and watched the movie on a VCD player ( yah i know i am not a young person) . And the movie just caught me. Specially those lines “Qatra mila samandr se samandr ho gya, aashiq mila jo moat se... qalandar ho gya”. So i started learning Punjabi and what other source i had in my village other then Punjabi movies ? So i started watching Punjabi movies. I was lucky that when i went to University in 2013, (till which i was able to completely understand punjabi but couldn’t speak in flow) my roommate was a faislabadi, so in next 4 years i

1. Learnt to speak Punjabi
2. Developed a sense of humor
3. Moti chamri charaa le i.e; i became bezti proof (trust me you need this when you are around a faislabadi). Just search in youtube “Abhi nandan went to faislabad”.

Even today, i have some 240 songs in my playlist which includes bhojpuri, 6-7 south indian movie songs, bengali songs, english and some 80+ punjabi songs. While i only have some 3-4 pashto sogns.
