Nusrat Bhutto (ZAB's wife and BB's mother) passes away

Politics apart, she was a very brave woman, who had to see the death of 4 very close relatives, unbearable for anybody.

But , why the heck a holiday for the whole country, why the heck 10 days of mourning, why the heck special flights to sukkur airport form most major airports, why the heck flag at half mast, it was not a national loss, a sad incident, but not a national tragedy.

These PPP folks really do take it over the line sometimes.

When you run the country as your family business, you are bound to close your shop upon a death in the family.

Actually politics aside and admitting that I am not a PPP lover I believe Bhutto, Nusrat and her sons were not bad. They did alot for Pakistani democracy and fought for a good Pakistan, even died for it. Few leaders do that. Even Benazir despite her shortcomings did many good things too and gave her life for Pakistan too. But now as we know PPP has been hijacked. The original Bhutto family is pretty much like Kennedy family who were also eradicated but their political wealth was hijacked too by others and opportunists who cashed it.

I think the lady has been relieved, just imagine the state of a person who saw unnatural deaths of almost whole family. May Allah forgive her sins and bless her with peace.
