Nuclear weapons only for strategic deterrence: Army chief

But would you really escalate to full-scale nuclear war, if Nasr is used to repel an Indian conventional attack?

If Nasr is used on Indian forces, then many Indian troops would be lost... however your civilian population and major cities would be completely untouched if you chose to withdraw.

But if you chose to escalate in response, then the only outcome would be full-scale nuclear war.

Would the Indian leadership really respond by starting a nuclear war? Realistically?

1st let me make one point clear to you. India is not interested to attack on Pakistan. If Pakistan attack us it may be lead to full scale war or nuclear war. We are not going to attack Pak, our response will be massive.

Indian generals are out of control. I am worried for civilian leadership of the military in India.

Also, the safety of Indian trains is well known, so how safe is the Indian nuclear arsenal?

The day Indian Generals go out of control, as Gen. VK Singh said, there will be bloodbath in Asia.

and If I start listing accidents in China which have been ''exposed'' you'll sleep counting them forget unexposed ones.

Is there any logic or proof behind your Statement, or shall I knock the door of Mods???

try to not let your ignorance show please . at least try to live you to your username.:)

I am sure that PA is also not that eager to go for a nuclear war nor should they start the war. But still defensive measures must be adopted and Nasr will be used if needed...

Kargil like misadventure of PA in future can't be denied.
With the use of Nasar, Pakistan would automatically switch on self-destruct button.

Kargil was a failed plan from the beginning.. Musharaf was a war obsessed general who dragged the army into all this. But that is why I used the word 'start'. If india initiates its cold start doctrine then PA will have no option other than Nasr.

A General who feels that Nukes are for deterrance and not toys to display / tout or threaten another nation with can hardly be called out of control. In fact he is quite the opposite.

You have a point that since Indian trains are not safe it would naturally imply that the Nukes too should not be safe.

Would the same apply to:

Russia ( their Soyouz programme is not doing too well lately).
USA ( too many road accidents and would you believe it, students use guns at school and shoot fellow students).
England ( Their underground gets bombed)
France : ( Too many road accidents)
Pakistan ( Suicide bombers)
China ( Mine accidents, Road accidents)

:what:

Get a life man, is this the best reason you could think to debunk the Indian Nuke programme ?
