Nuclear platforms to offer ‘military edge’ in South China Sea

. . . . . .
imagine if we bring this nuclear platform with conjunction of sea base X band radar to American pacific coast, we can vitually monitor deep inside US for 30 years before refueling , legally speaking we're allowed to do that as long as we're outside US water territory. This will be a greatest irony to American THAAD setup on SKorea and this mean 30 years of American nightmare to come for been watch by China.

....and we will exercise our right of freedom of navigation :rofl:if American dare to hit these platform, so much for their THAAD in SK

How stable are these floating platforms? Doesn't look that stable. It seems a bit too high, I wonder where the centre of gravity is.

Don't forget to tag me when China deploys such radar close to America coast. I read the US boys want to send coast guard vessels to the SC sea. How do you want to respond to that?

outh China Sea is a tough place, with heavy storms and typhoon throughout the year. Once one of your nuclear floating bomb is sunk, the entire region, the waters may become dead for 1,000 years. I hope you know what you do.

For a tough technology challenge, the best response is to develop better technology to conquer it, rather than run way, otherwise human being would still live in caves.

For the proposed nuclear platform in the South China sea, to ensure its safety under extreme situations, what have been done include:
- better reactor design with higher safety grade (e.g. China's CAP1400 reactor)

- more satellites on the orbit, so we can keep a 24/7 eye on typhoons in the South China Sea or its adjacent areas

- satellite-based high accuracy laser range finder, this will help us know the change of the height of the waves in the South China Sea (e.g. the Ziyuan III satellite-based laser ranger finder, which is able to reduce deviation of vertical positioning to one meter)

- supercomputer, so we can make simulation for weather forecast in the shortest period of time (e.g. the supercomputer Sunway Taihu Light, world's fastest computer)

Obviously, the above-mentioned are all very complicated projects. The talents/technology assets/money required are far beyond the imaginations of a technology-primitive country. So no wonder people from there would feel surprised.

Attacking a nuclear facility is equivalent to an act of a nuclear attack if I'm right. Vietnam will be wiped out if you attack a nuclear facility.
I don't remember of anyone of Viet posters ever threatening wipe out China. You seem to be an ultranationalist. What do you think if one of us promote unleash nuclear attack on China?

Technology is progressing for sure. However the most critical part of the whole process is human being. People make mistakes.

Don't try to play punk with me. One of your Vietnamese posted a clip of a missile hitting a drill platform to insinuate an attack on our nuclear platform. You as an ultra nationalist fellow, I strongly advise you from doing so as to prevent VN from being wipe out.

You are such a retard!

How many times Vietnam and China went to war?

15 times or more?

It is an understanding, any confrontation if occurs, should be either time limited or clear in scope. Never thratening any party with a total holocaust.

It is a about a proper response and retaliation for any party. You can call it the code of war conduct.

Even if one of your floating nuclear bombs is sunk, probably killing 100 Chinese, do you want to kill 100 millions in retaliation?

If so, you are the greatest retard on this planet.

If your thought has the majority among chinese, then it is a new game.
