Now, Pakistanis can invest in India

^^^ My God a tea Nazi!

The only time I force fed myself tea was when I was trying to quit smoking. :)

P.S. Did this entire intricate tea tasting thing back in my childhood Jamshedpur days. Enjoyed skating at the Mall more.

And here it comes, the charge of the Irani chai brigade! Maska bun, anyone?

I've always been fascinated, watching tea-tasters at work. They depend on trained and highly-refined palates, which get burnt out in ten to fifteen years, and their career is at an end. But they get paid accordingly.

I've been way more fascinated by whiskey tasters myself.

Though I simply abhor the fact that they roll it around and spit it out! :pop:

Well, there is that, and wine tasting and even coffee. Rakesh Sharma is a coffee nut and used to collect exotics and guard those collections zealously, only offering it to the initiated. There is a whisky club in Calcutta, which is far too expensive a taste for me, but which I can sympathize with. Even blended stuff has such differences in character; it was a lightning bolt when I drank single Malt for the first time.

we should build a plant in india for cars that run on water... :-)

that Pak engineer can form a company and go in JV with TATA

TATA is already trying to build a car that runs on water(read hydrogen)

if this JV occurs, chances of success will be much bigger as TATA has lot money

Extremely risky for Pakistani brothers to invest in India, please be very care full. Indian Govt policy can change.....?

National and Shan are most successfull masala companies, I think...

But Pakistan needs Indian auto industries, Toyota and Suzuki are ripping Pakistanis off with rs 90,000 for a 1970's car!!!

which model are you talking about?

Whiskey is never spat out. Wine is. Whiskey tasting involves smelling the whiskey and then imbibing it and finally enjoying the after taste.

Stand corrected bro.

Was invited once to a whiskey tasting do-da at Blue Diamond with the wife and some of her upper crust friends.

All the different tasters were passed back in my direction, and somehow the disapproving looks I was getting from the high browed made me wonder if I was doing something wrong by smacking my lips appreciatively .....

I enjoy single malt and go for tastings every now and then. Next time there is one in Bombay, I can PM you if you wish.

Thanks bro but honestly I'm just a humble (and new) convert.

Only recently started enjoying whiskey. Been a fauji rum and water guy this long.

Now whenever I travel, I pick up one Chivas and one Glenmorangie from customs pakka :)

Theres an Irish one called Jameson which I was introduced to recently and which I quite liked as well.

Baaki, for regular tipple, Puneri favorite, apna Teachers zindabad! :)

A little bit of background: my father had an Irishman friend named Jameson, who stayed back after independence, being the third generation born in this country. It turned out that he was related to the distillers - quite closely - and got large Christmas gifts in keeping with the spirit of the season. Those whiskers have been family favourites, and helped me to make a major breakthrough in Japan.

Nice to encounter another fan. Do not miss their single malts.
