Thread re-opened.

Please stick to the topic and stop discussing IQ's of different nations. It's not relevant to the topic at all! SalmanNadeem, stop bringing in the same rant in every thread. That would be highly appreciated!

.
Rant? Just because it is uncomfortable topic for you, you delete the posts.

I see that other off-topic discussions in this thread like industrial production, slums, discussions about my nationality, and pictures of Chinese cities have not been deleted.

Uncomfortable topic? Didn't I just tell you to open a new thread on that very topic? Please don't assume things.

The last few posts were taking the thread nowhere. Discussions tend to go off track in every thread, it's a natural way of debate at any forum and its the responsibility of the members to make sure that they stay on the topic and post less material that has less (but valid) relevance to the topic. But from the last few posts, it seemed that this thread was turning entirely into a debate about high and low IQ levels. The other posts that you mentioned will be taken care of. For now, stick to the topic.

Thanks!

Hembo:

Enough with the personal attacks and derogatory remarks. Stick to the topic and don't attack other members personally.

Apologies for going a li'l overboard. But you could have edited the post instead of deleting it altogether as it was not entirely un-useful. Don't you think?

Thanks

Its not the darling Israeli Military that's throwing garbage at India.. its China, the great country that India considers an imminent threat.

There may be a few countries in this world, which when challenged by great powers, meekly surrender and do their biding. May be they live every day fearing their "existence"
India is not one of them... it will never succumb to any threat!

Yeah, according to you "British just came and ruled". Did that ever happen to China? If Brits could come up with other ideas, why did the Brits have to resort to selling them opium?

The truth is, you are all opportunistic. All opportunists are born to surrender. So are all mercenaries.

Iran is our brother country and we are undergoing several agreements with them.
Are you aware of that Iran has supported India many times in International forums and that too against Pakistan? Let me guess... I dont think you are!

Taliban who are still the most powerful factor in Afghanistan are Anti-America, Anti-India but Pakistan Friendly. If you talk of Taliban in Afghanistan, they are more sincere and willing to join our wars than Myanmar and Nepalis are to you.

Are you aware why Pakistan opted to "remain" in Afghanistan after the US left... Afghanistan has always been in what you might call as the "indian" camp. As the Pakistani rulers where aware of this, they created the Frankestein monster called Taliban in the hope of strengthening their western front. But unfortunately, this monster has come back to haunt them!

Just because you urge to prove India better in every situation, you are making ridiculous assumptions sitting on your computer chair. You better spend some time researching and finding facts on ground and accepting that India couldn't always be better then the rest.
You do some research kid! :what:

All that opium that we grew back then... it was thurst into the nostrils of the Chinese ... Any reason why the Chinese didnt object ?

swords against rifles. if you are not being satiric. but they all knew china can't be colonized. Japanese miscalculated and invaded China in WWII, guess what, they just have to love those who dropped two bombs on them since then.

But whatever you say, this won't help you if it makes you feel happier. By the end of the day, you will find you are on your own.

Exactly Professor! :)
And the India that was ruled by the British had these similar weapons to defend. And the India of today is not those bunch of small countries that it once was.
Wonder why you do not apply your logic on China on India too?

Yep... Japanese managed to invade China. And then the Americans bombed Japan. And then the Japanese retreated. I dont realise how this makes you feel China is better than India!!

Nope.. it wont make anyone feel happier .. everyone on thier own ... Indians, Chinese, Pakistanis.

Govt denies report of firing by Chinese troops

NEW DELHI: The government on Tuesday termed as "incorrect" a media report which said that two ITBP jawans were injured in firing by Chinese troops
in Sikkim recently. ( Watch Video )

"A media report about two ITBP jawans having been injured due to firing from across the Line of Actual Control (LAC) has come to notice. The report is factually incorrect," External affairs ministry spokesperson Vishnu Prakash said in a statement here.

The report had claimed that the ITBP jawans were injured when Chinese troops had fired at them in Kerang in northern Sikkim about a fortnight ago.

It was the first incidents where bullets have been fired since the landmark 1996 Sino-India agreement in which both sides pledged not to open fire, no matter what the provocation, as a part of confidence-building measures.

Sources cite this as yet another instance of China's maintaining pressure on the 2.1 sq km area of `Finger Tip' in northern Sikkim. Last year, China had sent a vehicle-mounted patrol into this area, penetrating 1 km into Indian territory. The Kerang shootout prompted an unscheduled border personnel meeting on August 30.

Also last week, the entire situation along the LAC was reviewed in a war game by the Eastern Command top brass in Kolkata's Fort William, Eastern Command HQs, in the presence of Army chief General Deepak Kapoor.

Violations aren't new but have rarely involved casualties. What is alarming is the report of shooting along the LAC which has remained peaceful for decades since the Chinese invasion of 1962.

At Asaphila in Upper Subansiri Division of Arunachal Pradesh, for instance, a contingent of 22 Chinese troops had intercepted an armed Indian patrol of two policemen, three porters and five Special Service Bureau personnel in June 2003, disarmed them and returned them to the Indian Army.

In contrast, the Kerang incident could be a significant and dangerous deviation from the practice of talks before bullets.

Indians don't have what it takes in you, the sooner you realize that, the less chance you will get hurt. China doesn't compare with nobody. The only thing I imagine China likes India is her non-alliance political stance. It's genetic, and its in you.

Right, you are on your own.

As a professor in war, I have no emotions. :cheesy:

Today's India does not represent the ancient Maurya or Gupta kingdoms. There was no India or Bharat, it was Maurya and Gupta kingdoms which had good relationship with China.

Today's India is historically a British creation. Its no civilization.

Chinese leaders need to know history of South Asia.

The 2 most successful achievement for British in India:
1) de-industrialize the country
2) Split the region into two so that they will be busy fighting with each other (for details please refers to "Yes prime minster: episode 3 A Diplomatic Incident )
