Remembrance Sunday is held in the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth of Nations as a day "to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts".[1] It is held on the second Sunday in November, the Sunday nearest to 11 November, Armistice Day,[2] the anniversary of the end of hostilities in the First World War at 11 a.m. in 1918.
As many of you are aware this month is the 100th anniversary of the First World war (The Great War) I was wondering if we could do something to commemorate and remember the British Indian army they fought in all fronts from western front, the field of Flanders to Gallipoli and the middle east . Can moderators change the front page on 11th of November with a poppy with a simple message, or if possible messages from Chief of Staffs of Pakistan, Indian and Bangladesh the descendants of the British Indian Army the largest volunteer army in both world wars!
