So maybe..... its our own seeker this time????

With 212 km it wont be a bvr test... BVR NAVAREA for Astra is generally 130 odd km..

Since @kurup did not say anything about NOTAM, i guess there is no safe altitude implying a missile fired on parabolic path perhaps..
Looks like a SSM. may be SFC firing Prithvi 1 or checking new sub systems on it...

Can it be a AAD test. Heard in nov-dec that they were improving the present missile and it will be tested soon?
