Why not feed them to zoo animals?

If its the carcasses you mean from the cull, well logistics is a big issue I would think.

Since they are not in millions but only 2000. I would say capture them alive and test them and tag them as free of disease or not. The ones with disease should be treated and if they cannot be treated and the disease can spread because them, only then this option should be used.
BTW the question is how Norway is sure that these 2000 animals have disease?
