If the US strike NRK's nuclear processing facilities, do you think China will attack US? No. China will do nothing.

If China want NKR as a nuclear weapons state, China would have helped NKR to become a nuclear weapons state a long time ago. Long before the Soviet collapse.

If China does not want NKR as a nuclear weapons state, then a quiet agreement with the US to attack NKR's nuclear processing facilities as China looks away would allow China to have the all important face saving measures. However, the most unpredictable element is how will LFK respond to such an attack. Neither Kim nor his advisers will be so dense that they will not recognize China's betrayal. They will see China's hand in such an agreement.

Buddy, right now you can bet your life that the US and China is working behind the scenes on how to de-nuclearize NKR and the military option is definitely on the table. But no matter which option, NKR will be problematic for China for yrs to come.

Just like the Korean war, Kim wouldn't be expecting a Chinese intervention unless US troops are approaching the Yalu. That's why he wants to develop nuke in the first place as that's the best guarantor of his security. US doesn't need agreement from China to bomb N.Korea. The only risk is N.Korea retaliatory attack against S.Korea & Japan, and with the new toy, even Washington.

I feel Kim Jong Un will be thrown out of power soon. If I am not wrong, it should be by his own people. He may probably go missing from the country too. There is also possibility of his assassination.

I feel he's feeling the pressure so is submitting himself to save his skin.

Can't say yet if North will unite with South, but it's also a possibility.

He is literally worshiped as a god by over 80% of the population... He isn't going anywhere.

I think Trump just won north Korea over because the North Koreans know Trump cannot be blackmailed and is crazier than kim Kong un.

Lil Fat Kim (LFK) will be removed by China.

Right now, China needs NKR more than she wants Taiwan. So if China want Taiwan, there has to be stability in the Korean Peninsula and LFK is not helping. If China want both Taiwan and NKR, China has to prioritize NKR over Taiwan at this time. Extension to this is the South China Sea. This mean either LFK obeys China or he will be removed.

Why do I get the feeling that you are hoping for miracles to happen? China will do this for us. Pakistan will do that for us. This is not the assertive mighty America we used to know.
