Syifa Andriana, an Indonesian traveler has made Youtube series about North East Indian region and its people. Quite an extensive story that force her to make 6 series about this particular region only. I have watched her other videos talking about Iran and China. Good quality travel videos.

She has been in world journey for quite long time and has said to me in her Youtube comment that she has been living outside her home country, Indonesia, for 3 years. I also have suggested her to make story about Pakistan some day.

The series made by her may interest you guys who struggle with lock down measures.

North East India is really beautiful. Unfortunately they have been shunned by all governments. Also the threat of naxals is very real.

@Bilal9 @UKBengali

Is this near Bangladesh ?

After I saw the video, the region is relatively quite vast and not densely populated. I read somewhere that you had bad plan to invade the region.

Yes - right next to my division of Sylhet.

In fact we can walk to India in one day from my village.

I don't have any plans to invade, except maybe as a tourist.

Yes the region is quite vast, sort of unpopulated, and is remote. There are a few nice cities and towns. I hear Nagaland (Kohima is capital) is nice to visit as a tourist, . The region is bordered by China in the North, Burma to the East and contains seven Indian States, called the seven sisters. These states are closer to Bangladesh than the rest of India and ideally, they are perfect trade partners to us, supplying raw materials for our economy such as timber, clinker for cement, minerals etc.

If you like undisturbed nature and wildlife, you will find it in scades over there.

These are some of the main cities, Guwahati being the largest, which is the capital of Assam.

Most unique places close by are the state of Sikkim and the country of Bhutan.

Bhutan is a truly unique country in this area.

Welcome girl.

I think she travels alone,no-doubt she chose few SAFEST COUNTRIES to travel like India, Srilanka, Nepal, Vietnam, China etc and may be she impressed with Arunchal very-much, that is why she did 6 videos on one of the SMALLEST state in India.

The world is finally getting to know about my place and our lifestyle. Most of north east is sparsely populated except for brahmaputra, barak and imphal valley. Majority (2/3 rd) of the population live in these valleys which is less than 1/3rd of entire north east land mass. Rest of the north east is dense jungle covered mountains and an awesome place overall.
I wonder what made her so curious to come some unknown village, deep in one of the most sparsely populated state of India. I think it is because of GOI promoting northeast with its "incredible India" ads. Nevertheless it was good to see our place through her eyes.
Some more videos of other north eastern states

meghalaya: is usually more popular with tourist and nearest to Bangladesh

Indonesian food and car accident at 10.40 lol

Mizoram:

Yup, I check on Wikipedia, it said North East region is only populated with 38 million people. It is quite remote, I wonder whether there is still tiger left on the region ?

She has some big interest on traveling around the world and look like it has been her dream since long time ago. It is why she accept working in China as English teacher in the first place that become the starting point of her long time agenda of traveling around the world. Her China Muslim video that make her quite famous as world traveler Youtuber. Normal person at her age will rather find a stable job and build a professional carrier than going to many places alone.

Her video about India which show remote places in North East maybe due to her interest in making a different video than usual Youtube travelers who usually go to well known places. The picking may also be made because she is now living in Nepal, the place which is not too far away from North East India. She has also covered SriLangka in previous traveling series. I will not be surprised if she has plan to cover Bangladesh, North India, and Pakistan in her following videos if the Covid 19 outbreak is over.

.
She will have to get a Chinese visa a few years later and welcome back.

Ya, I think she has to cover Xin Jiang. It is already a tourist destination and as Muslim I believe she has more leverage to goo deeper into Uigyur community. I believe she will go to China again as her subscriber is now growing and it looks like she can rely on Youtube money for her living now.

So far her Youtube channel hasnt yet been sponsored by any government like many Western traveler have. Any way, that fact also suggest that her Youtube channel is more genuine than Youtube sponsored channel that sometime look more like adds than real traveling videos.
