Let's just agree to disagree mate. I'm nowhere near as religious as I suspect you (and many others here) are. Personally, I just don't think Religion is a strong enough factor to unite so many different kinds of people/countries. Hell, I'd even go further than that and question why a union based on Religion is necessary? But I fear that conversation may go down the drain here.

Actually you are correct in thinking this way. But think about this for a second.

Islam came to the most Triable people on earth at the time who waged wars against each other for 40 years over someone from Tribe A that killed the guest of someone from Tribe B (Bassous war) and it united those people and did away with petty racism and labeling. Why can't it do the same again. And I assure it is much easier than it was 1400 years ago in Arabia.

It's true, I have a cousin from my mother's side that lives and works in Saudi Arabia. In order to get a job there you have to speak their tongue. But the moment they find out you are Pakistani or Bangladeshi or something non arab they treat you like dirt.
That country has been taking advantage of our countrymen for so long. Indoctrinating people to carry out their deeds and extreme beliefs.

i wish there was no oil in that country so those lazy Arabs would actually have to work other than sitting around home getting money from the government or ripping off immigrants trying to establish a business there. But the funny thing is they'll just go back to riding camels.

Racism is a very wide net to cast every Arab in it.

There are good Arabs and then there are not so good ones. Have traveled through Arab lands extensively and spent time with "Arab Families". That's how I met some really fantastic people.

How many of you know that there are regions in Saudi Arabia where you need just a fan in the middle of summer (no AC needed), where vineyards go for kms (with sweet sweet grapes), and pomegranate gardens dot the landscape. Where you can buy some of the best watermelons, and other fruit.

The problem is not ordinary Saudis, or ordinary Pakistanis. They all want to live in peace and respect others.

The problem is with this grand lie called Islamic Ummah or Islamic nation.

Here is why.

The very core of a nation is the "individual citizen".

However the concept of citizenship is pretty much goes out of the window if you do not respect the borders, and do not provide a path to citizenship for those who immigrate to a country.

For now the true ummah for Pakistanis are perhaps US, UK, Australia, Canada etc.

Why it is so?

Because these so called Western countries have a clear idea about citizenship, the rights of citizens, and a pathway to citizenship for the migrants and immigrants.

No country including Saudi, Iran, Turkey, Malaysia can provide a path to citizenship (like the US/UK etc.) who were not born to the "natives".

Saudi economic system is the most archaic and obsolete and unjust that it doesn't protect innovation, and innovators, and non-citizens. It is unjust in so many ways that it will need lot more time and effort to explain than a piddly post in a forum.


So let's make sure we do not denounce ordinary Saudis or Arabs. They do not know, and they do not have any idea about citizenship. Therefore no idea of how strong nations are formed.

A person will be utterly mad if he/she wants to set up banking system based on Khulafa, or citizenship system based on Khulafa, trading system based on Khulafa etc.

Those times were ancient times. It is like people insisting that they must use donkeys and camels to travel over land, or little dingy boats to travel overseas, and no airplanes allowed.


Guys come down the high horses and realize that we cannot live in ancient times. and if we do, we'll do so at our own peril.

Seek just too things: Justice and tolerance from a system, and if provides you these two things, accept it as part of your Ummah.

Every religion is timeless. Hinduism, Judaism, and Christianity have all survived and survived for much longer periods than Islam. There is nothing mysterious about it.

Faith in a man's heart carries over generations, and thus the faith survives.

Jews have been persecuted for much of their history, for one and one reason only. That somehow such heinous persecution will force Jews to abandon their faith. But it didn't and it never would.


Islam too will survive just like so many other religions. However Muslims will suffer because they have started mixing government power with their religion.

Mullahs want to rule the countries, and rulers want to use Mullahs to rule the countries.

Mullahs were supposed to be scholars of faith, and not government baboo baboons.

Politicians were supposed to stay out of mosques and not turn these sacred institutions into petty political $hiteholes.

Muslims have failed to keep their religion pure and allowed their Shia or Sunni or other Maulvis to become politicians.

Thus we have lost the goodness of our religion.

Look at our country aka Pakistan. It was supposed to be home to people who speak truth, and they are tolerant, and they are trustworthy.

Instead we have so-called Muslims who lie and cheat on daily basis, and yet they go on loud speakers and internet forums and bark about the greatness of their faith.

This is the height of hypocrisy. And hypocrites are always punished. It doesn't matter even if they claim to be sons of god, or sons of prophets. They are just that. Hypocrites.

A tree is known for the quality of its fruit. Now tell me what is the quality of Islamic fruit in Pakistan. Are Mullahs with big beards the most truthful and most honest?

What Shia massacres are going on in Pakistan? Do you even know what is going on, or what the definition of a massacre is? Don't talk about things you don't know anything about.

I think it's high time Muslims started putting their loyalty on their homeland first, that is what Allah commands us to do. If our loyalty lies anywhere else, even with the fellow "Muslim brother", that person needs to be shipped off to the country where his "Muslim brother" lives.
