Iran's economy has grown at a faster rate than KSA in the past 2 decades, a country that exports four times more oil as Iran. Also you can notice from that graph that Iran hasn't had a single recession since 1994. KSA which exports 4 times more oil has however experienced a recession during this time.

Actually you are correct in thinking this way. But think about this for a second.

Islam came to the most Triable people on earth at the time who waged wars against each other for 40 years over someone from Tribe A that killed the guest of someone from Tribe B (Bassous war) and it united those people and did away with petty racism and labeling. Why can't it do the same again. And I assure it is much easier than it was 1400 years ago in Arabia.

Islam did not unite the Persians and the Arabs, Islam did not unite the Iraqis and Kuwaitis, Islam did not unite the Pashtuns and the Tajiks, Islam did not unite the Bengalis and Punjabis, Islam is not uniting the Baloch and the Punjabi etc etc. And you expect Islam to untie the 1.5 billion on the face of the earth.

1) I already agreed with you that Iran has a high inflation, you need to move on

2) I never left Iran, my parents did. You can't blame them though. In the 90's Iran wasn't doing too well. They both had Master's degrees at the time and they had job offers here in Canada.
