sania is right... this is india, after all... actually, it is a south asian problem.

i remember a newspaper photo of a sania match in india... sania had lost a game-point i think and is seen walking to her chair... one fellow from the audience had thrown a plastic water bottle ( filled, i think ) towards sania, and the on-court ball boy is stretching out to catch the bottle before it can hit sania.

But you must admit, that would be fun to watch. Only the ball boy seems to be affected. Its like punching someone and another person coming in the way blocking your attack. This is the role of the ball boy.

I learned in college that Indians are a collectivistic society. They think of their family first. But I could be wrong, rapid globalization is playing its own role.

Its poor farmers committing the suicides. Starting a farmer support fund can help. I have a study, other than showing the obvious (that poverty in larger in rural areas vs urban areas)

all the useless males here ( about 949 million ) and their mothers should be thrown into the sea...

well, i was angry on seeing the photo... the ball boy did his duty admirably, but the thrower of the bottle was basically doing a criminal act, some hateful thing where a game point and national patriotism was more important to him than respect for a lady or someone's well being... the bottle was filled, i think, so could have injured.

the typical indian family is the smallest social unit to forward three things... (a). wage-slavery ( jobs system ), (b). the society's capitalist structure, (c). every wrong tradition/trend in the society.

india is not a collectivist society... collectivism means people taking care of each other, contributing one's time and resources to the betterment of society... so, that is socialism, which is not indian culture and india are... like i said before, indian historic culture is "every man for himself".

as you know, hundreds of farmers in india commit suicide every year... and in the state of andhra pradesh, the month of august seems to be the highest time of farmer suicide... it is tragic but funny... as if august is some appropriate and fine time to kill oneself.

these farmers have been generational farmers... and they commit suicide because they would have taken loans... on interest basis... for "family commitments" like weddings, dowry, religious festivals and pilgrimages... all the unnecessary expenses... and when crops fail ( because of stupid indian farming techniques ), neither their immediate family nor their extended family can help them... they don't want to fight the money-lenders or the system... they will rather allow the loan-taking family member to kill himself.

same is the case with "honor killings", tortured life and suicides... the indian family system is at fault...

in the libyan jamahiriya, anyone willing to do agriculture was given land for free, along with fertilizers, tractors, tools, house etc... and anyway, electricity and water were human right... no taxes... even when cost of buying food was low, the farmer made enough money to live comfortably.

add to this... in the libyan jamahiriya... free education, free medical system, loans without interest, free or subsidized cars, easy legal justice...

and all that because libyan jamahiriya was the "libyan people's socialist jamahiriya".

compare all that to a farmer's life in india, or to any citizen's life in india.

the state of andhra pradesh provides good number of maoist rebels ( naxalites )... these are the people who see the stupidity of indian farming system, and the system generally.

those are the ways to achieve justice for farmers... not some micro-finance scheme created my muhammad yunus and approved by world bank.

i don't know if you are joking but isro2222 is certainly strange... i always doubt the sanity of anyone who does yoga... he does, and therefore has presented himself as our contact with the actuarian alien race...

how to decide if someone is useless is not that difficult... you judge their life choices, their political ideology and ask them certain questions...

anyone doing college degree after college degree is useless.
anyone who insults socialism is useless.
anyone who wants to save money rather than spend it, is useless ( money is facility, not necessity ).
anyone who has crossed 18 years of age yet has not rebelled against societies like india or iran, is useless.
anyone who insults heroes like guevara and gaddafi, is useless.
anyone who respects jobs-system but insults business-ventures, is useless.
anyone who propagates anti-human values
anyone who is obsessed with cell phone and video games is useless.
anyone with wish in 2014 to do a mba degree is going wrong.
anyone who propagates anti-human cultural traditions is useless.
anyone who forces his children into wage-slavery is useless

i can remember only those at the moment.
