No reason to distrust Pakistan: Rajnath Singh on Pathankot probe

If some things need change they must change if they are in our favour long term wise. Can't speculate something without much inside knowledge. Don't think Modi suddenly become idiot or anti-Indian.

Any Govt. that comes to power get bit by the bhaichara virus. Is it so hard to NOT talk?
I really don't understand what was the reason to visit Pakistan. What is the need to talk with Pakistan. World is not going to end if we don't talk with Pakistan. And why fall for this aman ka tamasha when keeping status quo is in our interests.

I love to see the calibre of Indians discussing a topic. It reminds me of childhood story of blind men trying to figure the shape of elephant by touching different parts. Keep it up you will perhaps get there!
Its not that simple. Usually Pakistanis are to blame, so something is fishy :p:

Nah. MMS did a Sharm al Sharif. Something no self respecting Indian leader would.

I don't see any self respect in the way this govt is approaching things, I only see stupidity. I will eat my words if that's not the case. Sharm el Sheikh joint statement was indeed a blunder but MMS felt the heat and learned from it. I'd even say that it received a disproportionate amount of criticism back home but the criticism was necessary. The main issue was the inclusion of Balochistan in the joint statement, but it only mentioned about Pakistan having some information regarding Balochistan. It did not say what that information was about, nor did it implicate India in any way. Secondly it delinked "acts of terrorism" from composite dialogue but that is exactly what Modi seems to be doing. It is high time, the govt realized that the so called non state actors of Pakistan don't work in isolation on their own. While Nawaz Sharif may have the best intentions, he hardly has any control over the army or ISI.

Even a college student in india wont trust in what paksitan is saying not sure what's going on ? . But all of you who are critizing modi on his pakistan policy should also understand india for the first time have gifted offensive weapon to afghanistan and he indirectly mentioned paksitan in the Afghan Parliement speech . But the stopover in Lahore has made everyone forget the scene behind

lol i have never been happy by this U turn by govt without any change in ground situation, even die hard critics of modi expected much stronger policy against pakistan and i am no diffrent :). India was gaining alot by isolating pak diplomatically and now this sudden stop over in lahore by PM, sushma making a visit to Islamabad. this all is a going to be a historical blunder by the govt. E
Do you really believe Pakistan was getting isolated in any manner? I think much of why Modi sudden change w.r.t Pakistan is because he could not isolate Pakistan in any manner and constant bickering about Pakistan supporting terrorism back fired too when Pakistan came up with its own proofs against India sponsored terrorism inside Pakistan. It is only after this that Modi approach towards Pakistan has seen a 180 degree change.
Pakistan at this stage gains nothing from attacking India. Our priorities lies elsewhere.

dismal state of foreign affairs, same old meek policies of the UPA resurfacing. Good Job NDA....
and not one word from the PM addressing the nation on it so far, this guy is acting like a king.

Verräter.

No other words.

US puts some pressure and we go with our legs wide apart. And then get ... That's how it has always worked.

Because we were eliminating your "assets" in Afghanistan, Modi saw that so this sudden "warming" and U turn by your leader is nothing more than a pathetic attempt to distract us from the west.

btw just mere hours before modi's visit to Pakistan he was spreading anti Pakistan venomous statements in an Afghan parliament so trust me you don't have to worry about your PM wanting good relations with Pakistan, he has no choice as he has to protect his assets which are currently being vaporized by our Army.

He is right. We do not distrust Pakistan Govt. Nor People. It is the Army, ISI and the Mullah brigade that we do not trust.
