No public hero after imran khan in last 40 years in pakistan

Why pakistan has been unable to produce any public hero other than Imran khan in last 40 years, is there really a problem with lack of talent in pakistan.

Don't say that Wasim akram, Waqar yunus , Shoaib akhtar or Shahid afridi are public heros. They have never enjoyed even one tenth of public hero image that imran khan continued to enjoy even years after his retirement.

Watch this interview of imran khan with moin akhtar, whatever moin was saying was 100% correct , I was a child in those days 1987 and I can confirm whatever moin was saying about imran khan. The surprising thing is he got this cult public hero image even in the age when TV sets were not widespread in pakistan, there used to be only few households with TV sets in 80s in most of the pakistan yet he was so famous all over pakistan.

Even when imran khan was not in politics he was still at the same stature before establishing PTI. Imran khan is totally different than Afridi both culturally and behaviorally due to belonging to two different cultures one coming from an urban liberal Lahori culture while the other having a very conservative tribal cultural background.

I am 100% sure Shahid Afridi will join politics. and Shahid Afrdi is already Public hero

What is the definition of "Hero"?

If it is, cricket then Probably Shahid Khan Afridi is bigger Hero, For Making it up to end, for most of the times alone.

But if it is Social Work then Abdul Sadar Edhi is bigger Hero

If it is making whole nation proud, than who can be better candidate then Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan?

If it is mass following, then is there any other candidate then Moulana Tariq Jameel?

If it is political following, then Bhutto was on the top, and B.B to follow, both were present in Past 40 years, their jiyala following is Huge.

So many names, for so many Heros of the country in past years. Just pick your definition, and Imran Khan don't fall anywhere
