I hear no news yet, regarding Kashif Masood Qazi, in today's hearing... Wgy was this issue, not brought in front of ourt by PTI lawyers? Kashif Masood Qazi and his documents, tht he provided to SC, are the biggest proof... Why didnt PTI mention abt tht, in SC today? Look...i really believe SC, is being unfair, esp one judge,,, but when PTI knows, they should go for solid documents, rather than statements in parliament.. And esp, when they have biggest proof, in front of them, in form of kashif Masood Qazi, CAN ANY ONE TELL ME, WHY IS PTI, not bringing issue / reference of kashif masood qazi in legal arguments in court?

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Wednesday resumed hearing into Panamagate scandal and raised questions over statements filed by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members in the case.
According to our correspondent, the court observed that there are discrepancies between Prime Minister’s statement he filed in the court and his public speech regarding his assets.
“He first said the money for establishment of Jeddah factory was acquired from Dubai, then said the money from Dubai was invested in Qatar, but the question is from where the wealth came to set up factory in Jeddah?,” the bench raised questions in the hearing.
The Sharif family is facing various charges, including money-laundering, setting up of offshore companies illegally and non-declaration of their assets, etc.
However, in a joint reply by the children of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif—Maryam, Hussain Nawaz and Hasan Nawaz – they have submitted their asset details and termed all charges baseless.
Maryam Nawaz, in her reply, had submitted that she was a trustee of Nielsen and Nescom companies and that she has not been a beneficiary of any offshore Company.
Today, the hearing was resumed by a five-member larger bench headed by Chief Justice Pakistan Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali. Other bench members are Justice Asif Saeed Khosa, Justice Amir Hani Muslim, Justice Shaikh Azmat Saeed and Justice Ijaz Ul Hassan.
Justice Azmat Saeed observed that second part of Maryam’s reply is important.
Justice Khosa inquired that why Maryam lives with her father when she is married. “Does her husband also live with her (in her father’s house)?” he asked.
“No he doesn’t,” replied Naeem Bukhari, the counsel of PTI, adding that she has stated that she lives with her father, and she has mentioned the address of Jati Umra (Raiwind) in all her documents.
“According to the documents, she is beneficial owner of the companies,” Bukhari said. At which Justice Asif Khosa asked that “when did her beneficial right begun?”
The court later adjourned the case till Dec 6.
To attend the hearing, PTI Chairman Imran Khan, JI Chief Siraj-ul-Haq, Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed and others reached the court.
As the hearing begun, PTI’s counsel Naeem Bukhari came up for arguments before the bench.
Yesterday, PTI Chairman Imran Khan conceded before the court that he has purchased a flat in London at Drycott Avenue in 1983 for 117,000 pounds he had earned outside Pakistan as a professional cricketer.
After the Qatari prince, son of a British-Pakistani officer has jumped in the Panamagate, claiming that the Sharif family bought Mayfair flats through money laundering. He claimed the illegal money was transferred in the bank accounts opened on his father name without any consent.
Kashif Masood, son of Masood Ahmed Qazi, a retired officer from London Stock Exchange, claimed this through an email to Registrar Supreme Court. He said his father was bluffed by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, who opened accounts in the name of Masood Qazi.
Unlike Qatari prince, the British son has consented to appear before the larger bench of the apex court to record his statement and testimony with more “substantial” evidences. – Samaa
