we can look to india as a bad example: india has kept none of the positives of its traditional culture while keeping many negatives such as sexism and castes. many indians speak ENGLISH better than their home languages, such a shame.

This is a democracy , change doesn't come by quickly becoz it is not forced upon ppl. But when it does come it stays put. I am in no way trying to bring up the "we have democracy and you don't " argument here. But in a democracy , more so in a highly heterogeneous one like ours , change comes about slowly becoz it has to come by thru concious choice of 1 billion indiviidual ppl. Indian state has never tried to keep the castes and sexism intact. However it has not done anything to counter it(no- not becoz it wants to let it continue). There is an inherent lethargy in a system like that of ours. That is why we are called the elepahant.

Capitalism has existed since the first human societies, i.e. trade for profit, and the ownership of private property.

Communism is the abolishment of private property, everything is owned by the state.

China is simply returning to the natural order, and the method is called a "Socialist market economy".

Change is the nature of being and the way we dress changes depending upon the changes in sensitivities of the society . The sari of the early 1900 's which the mothers and sisters of the subcontinent all used to wear was again not the original form of the sari . Infact there is no original forrm of the sari. Different designs , different cuts and different styles of wearing them , thru out the country thru out the ages.
And you please stay safe in your tent house.

LOL our system is doing much better than India. China is now the 2nd largest economy on Earth, and the fastest growing as well. India is NOT even in the top ten largest economies.

India has more people in poverty than even the continent of Africa. Poor infrastructure, massive amounts of malnutrition and starvation...

I don't know how you think you can lecture us, when your system is doing so badly for your own people.
