But their profit margin will decrease. India is a poor country and cannot afford to pay the price like China.Intel can now try to flog these chips to India。

Thank you, USA, The more constraints on China, the stronger China industry will be, hehe.
Becos people always look for easy way out. Like india having the ease of buying ready weapon overseas and a low local weapon production.why is that country becomes stronger after such restrictions but not before ?
Because, this time, you have no choice, but do it by youself.why is that country becomes stronger after such restrictions but not before ?

Restrictions work as catalyst that simply speed up the process.why is that country becomes stronger after such restrictions but not before ?
Thank you US for making loongson a major chip player in China, CCP will invest billions to make Loongson world class.
Exactly, they have nothing but sell their tiny market to blood-sucking international giants.Becos people always look for easy way out. Like india having the ease of buying ready weapon overseas and a low local weapon production.
That's not really true lol. iF YOUR LOONGSON CHIPS were at par with Intel/IBM etc then i dont think your government will be using Intel and other U.S Chips even for its critical projects.lol I dont think they are up to par yet. And dont say its because they want to act as free market, thats just an excuse, since they have bared foreign companies from operating in fields they know they are up to par like in card processing where unionpay is the sole provider and has a monopoly, which allowed it to grow to its current size of being the second-largest payment network by value of transactions processed after Visa. So no Loongson still has a long way to go before it can even dislodge U.S chip makers in Chinas high end sector much less dominate the China market.
Intel chips are the standard. Xeon chips are generic chipsets for supercomputing. The key in supercomputers is not the actual processor itself, but the network architecture such that you can organize even the worst CPUs into a coherent network that doesn't interfere with itself and where signal propagation is optimized. I don't know much about supercomputing but if you read supercomputing articles (real research articles, not pop sci or news) you hear about network topology, never about actual CPU specs. That is because the actual CPU specs are more or less irrelevant.
