For China IT industry, the restriction from USA is gift, hope the restriction can be excuted well.
I guess, more money will be into R&D on CPU and related manufacturing industry, USA is helping us updating industry system indirectly, hehe!

a cheater is a cheater.

:guns:
Didn't expect can get praise from you, you keep,:coffee:

China is not far behind in IT industries...
China is behind in IC industries which produce the hardware and chips.
Yet China is doing many things to improve its IC, including IC design house and Fab factory.
We should see some difference in around 5 years...

TSMC is actually doing a lot of help for China`s IC industries, directly or indirectly.
It is training people, introducing the tech, etc.
Many Chinese start up design house rely on TSMC for fab
And many fab factory in China has employee from TSMC..

TSMC should be giving Mainland some assistance :D

What I talk about is that part you said. that's our weak part, it need time and money to improve, also need determination, the restriction is helping us, maybe influence Supercomputer in follow years, but can help IC industries, that's base, in long term, there restriction is absolutely good news.

.
maybe it can use those Russia Cpus you kept bragging about :D you know the one that can play Doom 3 :partay:

the ban is probably only the high end Intel chips if there is even a ban.

sputniknews is sure becomming a popular source on here....behind Press-TV,informationclearinghouse, and teleSUR :cheesy:

Intel can now try to flog these chips to India。

. . . .
Due to regulation of Taiwan government, TSMC cannot transfer high end tech to mainland.
So most its help are indirect...
But we have demands, market, it is not difficult to speed up..

Fabulous, with their help Mainland can speed up remarkably.
