Again.. Get the data and stop talking subjectively. Get the numbers for current per Capital GDP, % Urban population in Slums and Human Development index for both countries. And then lets compare

Indian slum figures for people who bring it up. for your future reference

Dharavi - estimated economic output close to 1 BN USD (source : Guardian). INR 3,000 crores as per an NYT.

Indian slums are doing better than you know where. The people in those places are working and creating the growth. They are improving their lives and 100s of other Indians. They don't send people to blow themselves up. so people talking about indian slums, spare us the bull $hit. its still better than you know where.

Once Hindus and sikhs left, well you can see the condition of that city today... even tier 2 cities in India have bigger economy and better condition...

Pakistan was doing much better till 1965 or even till 1971.before the seperation of Bangladesh

than the period of turmoil started.which lasted till 1990's.We than started to change ourselves again.But because of very minor mistake in the past onwards 2004 things turned bad aswell

If Since 1990 or the terrorism would have not hit pakistan by 2004.When our GDP growth rate reached 8%.
And since than is an average 3%.With an 8% growth rate since 2004.Pak might very well have a GDP closer to 400billion dollars.

you should back your claims with statistics. I already proved that Pakistan has higher percentage of slums and even poverty is alleged as higher. Karachi even lacks basic infrastructure comparable to Mumbai.
