2 legged or 4 legged. :P
4.. both legs and other stuff.

Is that your jargon for the different isotopes of Uranium (U[SUB]235[/SUB] & U[SUB]238[/SUB])

I think the whole issue of Aussie Uranium was the brilliant brain misfire of some bloke at the foreign office of GoP..
"this is how we shall show our support to the nuclear program of Pakistan..ask for stuff we dont need and cant get..look desperate"

. .
Now you gotta ask Santro about that. ;)
He's the resident expert on "Uranimic Bovines" :P

You are mixing up silicon with uranium.. that in the 4th group.. below carbon and above germanium.
Certain Silicon Bovines may be of interest, but not too many.. I prefer the good old carbon based Bovines.

The periodic table has its uses in Physics, Chemistry and Biology
Why does it freak people out so much. Probably the way we are taught is a clue. We start loathing it :bad:

Did you guys know that the original inventor of the periodic table, British Physicist Henry Moseley was unfortunately killed in the first world war. After his death the British gov never allowed its top scientists to serve on the front lines

The modern version of the table was given to us by the Russian chemist Mendeleev

Some indian chemist have made their own periodic tables different from Mosley's one.... So we have to understand their lack of concepts and limited to local based information...;)
Actually They think Mendleev was the better one cuz of russian nationality....

while India can be well proud of a foreign import i.e Uranium..Pakistan can be proud of her own reserves which are enough.

.
i think Pakistan made the request more just to show the double standards of the west...i genuinely dont think that our side knew they had much prospects to deal with these people....but in all honesty, our exposure and trade with this irrelevant country is negligible

alternate sources exist nevertheless and we can exercise those options later on......the Chinese actually have been very cooperative and helpful in this regard

Not quite, it was just to introduce a lighter (but bigger) moment.
And yes, while silicon can leak, uranium can go ka-boom. Is'nt there a difference?

why you are asking for uranium from Australia if you already have it in reserve?
