Question now is that who is it that we on this forum are naming Taliban are they people who have had a historic presence in the region and preferred to have their own set of rules based on the Islamic Shariah, if they are the ones accepted by locals then who are the Taliban that alot of Pakistanis have labeled as being trained by RAW in India, lastly who are the Taliban that have joined hands with al-Qaeda and are fighting America, our country has been ridden with this new trouble and we are going round in circles wondering who is to blame.

We need to unite as a nation know our history and then decide who is who and hopefully start to remove the people causing trouble not the solution.

I saw Chand Bibi being flogged, I've seen hundreds of people hanging from the trees... headless.

I KNOW for a fact, that none of them have any degrees, they are unpar, jhahil, gawaars who I won't see fit to give a job to wash my car... and they are being given a whole city to run.

My Iman is strong! I know that if I live a good life, people will see my good example and adopt Islam. I don't have to twist anyone's arms to make them follow my edicts and whims.

Govt to provide all possible help to IDPs in Swat: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday said the federal government would provide all possible help in the early rehabilitation of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Swat and would strive for the reconstruction of infrastructure in the area.

Talking to Syed Alauddin, MNA from Swat at his Parliament House Chamber, the Prime Minister expressed the hope that enforcement of Nizam-e-Adl in Swat would bring peace and tranquility to the area.

The MNA thanked the Prime Minister for his efforts in the unanimous passage of the Nizam-e-Adl resolution in National Assembly.

He informed the Prime Minister that Nizam-e-Adl was a long standing demand of the people of Swat and they were highly appreciative for Prime Minister’s support in this regard.

Fazl welcomes signing of Nizam-e-Adl LAHORE: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, welcoming the signing of Nizam-e-Adl Regulation after getting nod from the National Assembly, said Tuesday that approval of the regulation was beginning of the supremacy of Parliament.

Addressing the party’s workers outside JUI-F’s office here, he hoped the regulation would be implemented soon.

“Time has come now that internal and external policies be changed by implementing the unanimous resolution passed by the two houses of parliament on national security,” he said.

The JUI-F chief said that conspiracies against the country were on rise which could be countered by showing unity.

no I dont and neither i know if they were actually the real taliban or not? if you have any evidance to proof your claims then please share with us...
but know for sure if someone bomb your house from sky and kill innocent relatives and you have no hope to get justice... you wll react furiously and target those whom you have seen killing others and selling your brothern to enemies (like musharaf) and that is why they are attacking PA as they are always at front, american is just dictating them ever since. and they did the same to PA in somalia.

TTP is the Taliban we are referring to and they are the ones who burned SWAT and quite openly have admitted to many acts of terrorism throughout their onslaught on the people of Pakistan.
Their spokesmen have given interviews and flaunt their atrocities as a righteous wrath on the enemies of Allah.

This site is full of such recorded admissions and countless references to the situation and the brutality of TTP...

The proof is very much there for us all to see but if you choose not to see anything malicious in TTP then so be it, you will fit in wonderfully with the future thekaydars of Islam.

Just keep the beard nice and long and do not forget to keep the shalwar above the ankles...it is mandatory uniform of all Muslim Males as per TTP

BATHKELA: The Tehrik Nifaz-i-Shariat Muhammadi (TNSM) said Tuesday that after Swat and Malakand, Sharia will be implemented in other parts of the country as well.

While talking to the media in Batkhela, the TNSM chief Sufi Mohammad said that the Taliban and TNSM will work alongside the government for the implementation of Sharia and will maintain peace in the region.

Sufi Mohammad also said he will not abolish the peace camp he established in Malakand and will continue the peace process in the Swat valley.

The TNSM chief added that once Sharia is implemented in Swat and Malakand it would soon after be extended to other parts of the country.
He also urged all TNSM loyalists to work towards furthering the peace process.

Earlier, Sufi Mohammad had welcomed the signing of Sharia bill as a positive sign.

Well said....Hazrat Muhammad PBUM spent 40 years of wordless character preaching. People believe HIM because of his character and trust in society.

Will this be the case in all Pakistan, much depends on how the US reacts - if the world can be threatened by Pakistan playing a suicide card, then, no, it will not spread to the rest of pakistan - but if the US and therefore the world decides it can live with a talib Pakistan, then, yes, it will spread to the rest of Pakistan and everyone can be happy muslims enjoying "islamic" law.

Please, please don't put this burden on us. We are TIRED of trying to save Muslim nations from themselves (Lebanon, Somalia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, Indonesia, Palestinians). I don't know what the US would do about a irhabi government in Pakistan. We would not have the stomach to try to suppress the entire Pakistani nation. Too many American lives would be lost. Probably we would try to destroy Pakistan's military power from the air, maybe take Pakistan's nukes with special forces operations, and then impose the tightest economic sanctions we could. Perhaps your all-weather friend would come to your rescue, provided their emissaries were not all beheaded by the irhabis.

Don't misunderstand - if indeed this an attempt to blackmail the world by holding a gun to one's own head - then it should be called - that will up the ante for those who have bet Pakistan in this gamble - it will be put up or shut up time -- in a much maligned post on another thread I has said that the best thing US can do for Pakistan is to do nothing - let them decide to live or die or as AM says, "adapt"
