Nimoo-Bazgo project: Pakistan to take dam dispute to world court

Well, the department has to justify it's existence...albeit when everything is lost.

Sadly, Pakistan's 4th war with India will be on water.

Nothing new.. It will again be a diversionary tactic by Pakistani establishment to divert the Pakistani population from its leaders' follies..

Indian theft of water cannot go unnoticed and if that unites the nation of Pakistan even further, it will be all good. Before we captured 31% of Kashmir and this time we will just have to take the rest to finish is once and for all.

you conveniently choose to forget that you lost 50% of Pakistan in the process.
selective memory much?

PK should definitely take it to arbitration (ICA), where the two countries can logically debate this issue; and the final verdict will be accepted by both sides.

Just get a anti-radiation nuke and nuke the dam. Hey, we warned you.

LOL.. and about Kashmir, all you did was an unsuccessful invasion of a princely state of J&K.. That too you could not complete due to the Maharaja acceding to India and stopping you in your tracks.. :)

what's an anti-radiation nuke?? is it deployed from a flying carpet?

with all due respect JD, let's take it to arbitration and solve the issue like adults.

He probably meant a Neutron Bomb which has minimal radiation unlike conventional Nuclear Weapons.

lol..we dont even need to scramble our AF then..

Although the dams are being constructed for hydroelectricity, but in needy times some cracks can develop and all the tension will go away...This is something they loose their sleep on...

What really concerns us is the Indian ability to stop our water at will and India has been playing water games for a few years now. She restricts water flow when our crops require water and releases large chunks of water when our crops do not require water....often she causes or helps deteriorate flooding in Pakistan by releasing even more water.

Our growing concern is that Pakistan may be forced to go to war over this issue, it's senseless things like this that force us to dislike India especially at a time when we should be looking to solve our outstanding difference, instead India finds paths to create even more conflicts.

. . .
And that will ensure a conflict free future?

Ayub Khan's regime who signed the Indus water Treaty says India has all right to build "Run of the River Dam" for Hydroelectric production. That's why your governments all attempts to stop Baglihar Dam was futile and World Bank supported India in this regard. Yes, you can go for the war, going for the war means cancelling the treaty means good for India only.

And anyway, tell me how this war going to help help you. Dam will remain intact even you attack India and declare ceasefire in 2 weeks just like 1965 war. :girl_wacko:
